Hi Pocketbook pup, I'm going by what my SA told me but who knows. Maybe only the corporate office or managers are privy to that info.

Who knows right? I definitely double dipped because I got a Kelly at home and then one at fsh three weeks later. But I hadn't bought any for a year prior at any store. They definitely bend the rules if they can. I am on self imposed ban until my SO comes in anyway so I should be fine. But if my store offers something between now and then it will be a real dilemma, especially since we are still learning about the new SO system at FSH. Oh well the thrill of the hunt is half the fun. Thanks for your insight.

Loverofchanel, box will not fit in a carry-on. You'll need to check a luggage with a box in it and carry your new bag onboard. I use longchamp tote to put my B or K and carry it during travel.

Early Dec. is a great time to go to Paris. Have a wonderful time.
Thanks Gina! Does the B or K fit comfortably in the Longchamp?

I don't own any oversized luggage, but judging from the pictures of the boxes, it looks big and I wouldnt want it to get damaged. I guess I'll need to go buy an bigger luggage.

Or just carry it in the shopping bag. You are allowed to have one bag and carry on. Then later on, you can take the bag out of the box on board, if you are worried to leave it in the upper storage.

I am curious what's considered jump in line here. Is it still considered jump in line if they only ask for ONE appt? My husband went with me to line up, then he needed to go to the washroom and also wanted to get some coffee. I am not that lucky that although my husband is willing to pay for anything that I like, he doesn't like waiting that long in line. He would get really grumpy if I didn't let him go pee. So he went away for about 20 minutes to do his stuffs and came back to join me when the store was about to open. Note that we only asked for 1 appt, not 2 separate ones. Does it still considered jump in line? Also, my sister is going to Paris with her husband in Jan. She will be 3 months pregnant by then. She is very skinny, so her belly doesn't show at all. If her husband waits in line and she joins him later, would that be inappropriate?
I don't think that would be inappropriate at all. The people in front of me each took a separate appointment, I made sure to check because if I didn't get an appointment for the day, I would have made a noise about it! But, I got lucky. Those two extra appointments would have definitely affected someone further back in the queue; even though they were up and at the store early in the am. Which I think is unfair because I saw these guys roll up soon before the store opened. I got to fsh at 9.15 am and was given a 4ish pm appointment, just for an idea.

@princesscathryn I'm going to Paris in early December and I'm going to try my luck for a B or K35. How did you manage to bring back the box to the US? The box seems big and I'm concerned it won't fit in my regular carry on. Also may I ask how tall are you? I've never tried on a Kelly before and since I'm petite (5'0) it might look too big on me. Yours looks great on you btw!

I think I'm gonna put the box in the checked luggage and put the Kelly in a longchamp bag like everybody suggests here (in fact my husband had the same suggestion, although he doesn't browse purseforum lol). The box won't fit in a carry on for sure.

I'm almost 5'4". In fact I think K35 is a little too big on me but my husband said it looks just fine. Well I guess it's all about personal preference.

Good luck!

You can ship it back home via La Poste. Your hotel can do it for you or you can go to Office Depot and do it yourself. I did the Office Depot and it was actually a fun experience and another chance to interact with charming locals. The Office Depot guy found a box, wrapped it up and and he actually walked me to the La Poste so I could find it easily.

Update: my husband failed his 2nd attempt today. He got in line at 8:30am and when the hostess scheduled the appointment, she already emphasized that the inventory was very low if he was looking for Kelly. He got served at 11:00am by Disy. Sure enough, nada.

Oh well, at least he didn't waste half the day in the store. We checked out the Sacré-Cœur and Eiffel Tower this afternoon, it was sunny and the view was spectacular!

Omg your husband is a prince. My husband would never do this. He did however just leave to pick up the take out for dinner so I guess there's that.[emoji23]

I have a K35 and sometimes it feels big and sometimes I wish it was larger! If I recall correctly you have a small child, it might be a great size if you need to carry a few extra things. And definitely user friendly with the hands-free option.
