I had recently had success in Florence getting an etoupe Evelyn. Was within first few in line pre-open (showed up 30 mins prior) and got exactly what requested. I purchased 2 scarves before asking. I saw others walking away empty handed when they asked for bags right away. I tried to be chatty and bubbly with the SA. I also tried in Rome twice but went toward the end of the day and struck out.Traveling to Rome Milan Florence & Capri in a few days. Hoping to score a Picotin 18 & or mini Evelyn. Also plan on purchasing a few other items (Ear cuff, orans, twilly, scarf & a Kelly belt if lucky) which store would I have the best luck at for bags. - will my st barths profile show up in Italy?
The Naples store is closed until the end of the year. Capri was cute but TINY. It can only accommodate about 5 people at a time. So there's usually a wait outside. I met a charming SA and bought a Clic H, a shawl, and a mini Evelyne. When I returned the next day she was off and I was told they had no bags of any kind. I consider myself lucky.HelloHas anyone had luck getting a QB in Capri or Naples recently? Also, could you please share your experience if you’ve been to either of these stores in the last 6mo? I’m planning to shop regardless of bag offers, so wondering how the stock is/ general vibe of the store, etc. Don’t want to be too stressed on my trip haha Thanks so much!
It’s not, but it’s a wishlist bag. Only B & K are considered quota bags in my home store.Hi! Is constance considered a quota bag in italy?
This helped me so much. After reading this advice, I queued up 15 minutes before store open in Florence and still had to wait another ~30 mins inside. I think it helped a lot that I had genuine wishlist of non handbag items. After choosing 3 items for purchase I asked for an evelyn neo and was offered a vert vertigo evelyn tpm which I LOVEEEEE.I had recently had success in Florence getting an etoupe Evelyn. Wherever you try, I’d suggest queuing early before open, purchasing a few things and being friendly.
I saw many greens too. I was waiting for my SA for a long time and had a good view of the offers being dished. A number of green bags, black picotin 22, arcon bag. Good luck to those tryingThis helped me so much. After reading this advice, I queued up 15 minutes before store open in Florence and still had to wait another ~30 mins inside. In Rome, I watched several people be offered the same orange canvas garden party and rejecting it. One lady actually purchased it - they processed the sell before she demanded to return it. It was quite comical. There was a huge array of green handbags on display - green must be in large production right now.
Good luck! My friend was just in Milan and said that when asking for a QB she was told that they only use a wishlist system. She was offering non QB- a Geta bag- which she accepted. Not sure what you’re looking for but just thought I’d share her experience in case it’s relevant.Does anyone have a really nice SA to recommend/share contact in Milan ?
I had terrible service in that store but I wanna give it another try .
Thanks a lot!
His girlies!! How difficult is it now to score a Kelly Pochette in italy(presend ratio&waiting time)? Especially in Padova/ Venice store? I do have a several years old account with almost 100k spend. Would appreciate so much if you could share your experience![]()
I agree with this and have actually heard that Italy is *easy* for Kelly Pochettes if one is a "local". Perhaps the SM/SD there chooses to order more KPs than other regions based on a personal preference.I think the problem is more being in the right place at the right time. In Italy (like France and Monaco) you will have plenty of competition as shopping is a national pastime (Italians spend x 4 more per capita on fashion/accessories than anywhere) locals spend and tourists spend. Having said that, in Italy, more than anywhere, if an SA likes you and you qualify (and it sounds like you do) if they have KP they'll try to make it happen (unlike elsewhere) IME, Italians love sell as much as they love to buy.
I would think your SA there could give you a better indication of how long it will takeI do have a several years old account with almost 100k spend.
