Does anyone know about Hermes in Naples,Capri,Portofino?

Planning a trip to Naples and Capri - does Italy operate a wishlist for birkins or is it possible to potentially buy one as a walk-in? Has anyone been to either of these 2 boutiques recently?

Capri might be closed given it’s October but if not and are you able to visit, they are usually on reserve for clients (B, K, C). But you can create a wishlist with them (if you plan on visiting often). The Naples store didn’t have too much selection last time I was there in June. I would say in Italy your best chances *as a walk in* are Rome, Milan and Florence.

Agree w other poster + just to add Capri as a tourist location usually quiets down a lot in October so that’s why I say things might not be open (: On another note, maybe since it’s end of the season for them they may have a bag or two that someone rejected/changed their mind about? You never know! Good luck!!!

Absolutely agree with Capri. This store is great for walk-in, one time visitors of any nationality. All the salespeople are very pleasant..and patient! I think Rome and Milan may be too competitive.

My aunt is not very well versed on Hermes, or at all, and only wanted a B/K. Was not dressed fashionably and had a Michael Kors crossbody bag on. Must of been a slow day so the SA offered a Birkin but to even see this Birkin she would have to select 7K euro of items; leather items and bags included. She didn't have to buy anything if she didn't like the Birkin offered after her selection of items. The store is so small that there weren't many things to select from but was well stocked of popular items. Bought several pairs of oran sandals and belts which took quite some time to decide on. The bag offered and purchased was a B25. This experience was in October a few years ago. Not sure when the Capri store closes for the season but maybe they were trying to sell their stock quickly at that time.

what is the stock like in Capri? do they have decent selection of jewelry and rtw?

Does anyone know if the Naples and Capri H stores do deliveries to local hotels? I hate walking around with shopping bags and this service is my favorite thing about shopping in Europe.
