:confused1: The Mini Kelly Picnic only debuted for Spring/Summer 2019 (Came in 6 colors: White, Bleu du Nord, Jaune Naples, Rouge de Cœur and Vert Verone, and Gold for Swift. There's also heritage Barenia but I believe that was push offer, if I'm not mistaken.) I'm befuddled that a client was able to order a mini Kelly Picnic EIGHT years ago?! :confused1: :shrugs: :thinking:

I wasn't aware of this! That's so strange. I wonder if she ordered something else and ended up with a picnic kelly instead, because he repeatedly mentioned that she had been waiting for the bag for eight years. Then again, if she ordered it eight years ago and it's only been available for two, the wait seems much more understandable :lol:

Edit: Thinking better of it (and with some Google help), I think it was just a regular picnic kelly that came out in 2011, not the mini. I only saw the pic briefly so clearly my mistake.

I think maybe that client ordered the regular sz picnic and the mini one happened to arrive so she/he got it. 8 yrs ago there wasn’t any picnic in mini kelly size.
I recently got the mini size in fauve barenia, looks like it’s the only one my store ever got per my SA, I was so lucky I guess ☺️

There's limits to how many items a person can buy and the SA is responsible for enforcing those limits. If corporate notices the customer pattern it is likely that they will be placed on a "DNS" list and no SA will be able to offer them any BKC's. As far as the SA goes, a reprimand (most likely verbal) would prob occur.

@Mr. Ex - would the customer be notified that he/she is on the "DNS" list? It would be unfair for the customer if they are continue spending whilst expecting to score a BKC later.

@Mr. Ex say someone wanted to build a spending profile in pursuit of a bag but didn’t necessarily want to own lots of Hermes products, which products/categories are the easiest to resell while counting towards profile?

How do you pick what size bag you want? I won't know which bag I want until I actually hold it in my hands and try it on. How do you ladies make your first request when you haven't seen the bag? I haven't seen one IRL (BKC) and I think all sizes would work but I won't know until I have a specific item in my hand to compare. (color + leather + size + hardware. The permuations.... ) I am not used to shopping like this.

Some stores at least have sample bags to try on for size. I know which bags are kept at which store to try on for size, before orders or request. FSH def has a 35 BBB which everyone has seen. Try asking your store about that first. The other thing is to have lots of friends with huge Hermes collections. It helps. :smile:

Go to a big reseller like Rebag. They'll have most if not all sizes of everything.

no substitute for the real thing, I know, but if getting 'hands on' is very difficult
make, or get someone to make for you, a cardboard mock-up
the dimensions are readily available
obviously it won't help with leather selection, but it will give you an idea of proportion
and could help rule out or rule in some sizes
