Small flap prices have been reduced a lot in boutique. It's now 10% cheaper than m/l! I guess it's becoz the original price difference is so small that most ppl will go for m/l!

There are plenty of YouTube videos comparing the sizes. Recently Mel in Melbourne has put out a comprehensive video on this topic. I also like the comparisons done by Sherin Ng and Chase Amie. You may find those helpful. I personally prefer videos over pictures. [emoji4]

I'm currently debating between a preloved black caviar ghw classic flap in small vs a black lambskin chevron so black rectangular mini. What are your thoughts?
And like a similar post, I wonder if they're all too similar! I currently have an old medium boy in black lambskin and ghw and a black caviar woc in ghw.
The rectangular mini I like because it's crossbody and can fit more than the woc. And who doesn't love the so black collection? But a small classic flap just feels so classic and I love how it looks over the shoulder single chain. Should I try to sell one of my existing ones to avoid duplication (but I feel like I'd lose money because there hasn't been a price increase and mine have show some wear)? Or use my two daughters as an excuse to keep them all?

The small will definitely be more functional than the mini (it'll hold your phone and cards... maybe a makeup compact or teeny wallet), and since you've got a lambskin already, maybe go for the caviar? It'll be easier to care for.

Is there a significant price difference and/or condition difference between the particular preloved bags you are looking at? I would take all that into account. Both are small bags obviously. Also consider the difference in chain length and if that matters to you at all.
It sounds like having the cross body option is important to you so I vote for the so black mini. It'll also be nice to have the black hardware and chevron added to your current collection.
Just came across your thread hun and wanted to just give you the heads up on the prices. It seems that the classics are going up by $400 per size with regards to the CF and Reissues. The minis are going up by $200 starting Nov 15th 2017 in the U.S.
Not sure if the pre-loved market will also mark up their items to match as well.

So while I'm saving for the jumbo, which will take years, I'm looking at getting a small evening bag. I love the look of the mini rectangular but the sizes confuse me. The small appears larger than the mini but people say it holds less than the mini rectangular. And to make matters worse, the mini on chanel website is a different size to the mini I've seen online!!
I'd like a nice evening bag but one I can wear cross body in daytime. I can travel light if necessary. Any advice or wisdom.would be appreciated. Thanks..
