I'm 5'6" not 5'61/2" as I originally said. I got measured and either osteoporosis is setting in early (!) and I'm shrinking or more likely I thought I was taller than I truly am drats! Anyhow the mini is perfect for my frame and a fun little bag.

Pooh bag we are bag twins. I love your modeling pics in the other thread. I can't carry mine cross body as it's just a tad but short but u look good. Also congrats on your So black jumbo.

Thank you poohbag your mini and jumbo are very beautiful !!!!!! do you feel comfortable wearing the mini with chain wrapped around flap to double up but not holding it on ur hand but wearing it on your shoulder

Oh thanks giorgina! I just answered you in the mini thread as well but yes I do find it comfortable wearing doubled up on the shoulder. The bag is light, small, and not boxy and hits me at the right length. I do wear it crossbody most of the time though.

Have you thought of the reissue baby 224 claasic flap as an alternative to mini or small? Size is 8" x 6" x 2.5" - i find it holds the same amount as the small flap (9" x 5.75" x 2.5") as it is slightly more flexible....just an idea. Also the 224 has 4 holes so you dont have to wrap the chain round the flap to get the double straps style. ;) I found it looks less boxy than the mini when worn crossbody style and the small is a tad wide against the body also for me. My 2 cents....

I just sold my small black flap and bought a rectangle mini in charcoal grey. I love it. But I also have a small black Reissue that I was reaching for over my flap. I guess the deciding factor was being able to go crossbody with the mini and 225. I also wanted something other than black.

Size-wise, I'm not sure. I travel light. Just my wallet, phone and lipgloss. My yen wallet fit okay in my small flap. It'd be pretty snug in my mini.

my mini rectangle holds more than my small flap b/c of the double flap. the mini is also able to expand b/c it's lamb, and my small was stiff b/c it was caviar, so the material you choose will make a difference too. the lamb can stretch a bit. i sold my small because it was just too small. imo, though, there is no competition in quality of the small v the mini. the mini looks almost like a starter bag when you compare it to the design and care of the classic flaps. so if you want a true classic, get the small. if you want a bit more space and crossbody option, then mini. when i sold my classic i got a small profit for it, so it did rise in value as well, a bit. my experience only

I can fit more in my small flap vs rectangular mini. I prefer using my small flap if I want to bring the typical daily slgs. In my small flap, I have my zcp, key pouch, pocket organizer, 6 key holder, and phone. When I carry my mini, I carry my zcp, key pouch, all other slgs won't fit. I have to take the car fob by itself without the holder and bring a smaller key holder. Tissues and wipes have to be removed from its slg and places in the inside pocket of the mini. I use my mini if I want a cross body, that's it. Space wise, the small classic flap works better for me. I also prefer how it looks on me carried with one chain. I love both but if I had to pick, it would be the small flap. Good luck deciding :)

Hi, I have m/l's and mini's, none of the small. For me it was a case or the mini's being more casual and evening - and critically - cross body. My m/l's can be more formal, or for when I want to carry more things. When I bought my first classic caviar ghw m/l they showed me the small also, but it was such a slight price difference and when I had it on it didn't look as nice on me as the m/l. Someone in another post mentioned that the boutiques are going to stop stocking the small, but best to check with a boutique directly. Good luck deciding!
