Small classic flap vs mini rectangular?

There are square minis and rectangular minis. The square mini is the “original” mini but its strap is shorter so harder to cross body. Personally I prefer the rectangular mini but both minis have their fans so it’s worth trying them out in store before you decide.

I bought a small flap. Now, I still want mini.

I prefer to wear crossbody bags.

I prefer small over mini. I had the chain of my small lengthened so that I can wear it cross body. I don't plan to sell, so it works out fine for me. One note: smalls are double flap bags. I wondered if it would bug me (my larger flap is single, which I really love), but so far it's great!

I have the small flap too with the chain lengthened and i love it. I don’t plan on selling either it fits my needs and it looks terrific crossbody. Not too big or too small. Hers a mod shot of mine all across Italy last month ..

Where did you get the chain lengthened?
I want to do it too.

I got it lengthened through leather surgeons. They are located in Pennsylvania. They usually charge about $150 and the turnaround is no longer than 2 weeks.

I tried on both and I went for the mini rectangular as this one can be worn crossbody and the small classic can’t. It’s just about the same size.

Hello everyone,

I am having a hard time trying to figure out what to do! I would appreciate help, opinions, and any experiences you've had with this. I currently have a red medium lambskin flap, a mini square caviar flap in a brighter color, and planning on getting a black 225 reissue, my last addition will either be a black caviar mini square or a small black caviar flap, I like the minis because they are handy and crossbody usage but in many ways I don't want to yearn for a "classic flap" down the road, I only want the small flap as I don't like the medium caviars. I know I can also extend the small but not sure if I would want to do that. What would you choose?
