Small classic flap vs mini rectangular?

I would go with a small too. I’ve been wanting a size small for such a long time and finally got one. It’s the best looking size out of all of them. My second fave is the mini!

Hello Chanel lovers,

I would like to get your inputs on the items mentioned above. I haven't really seen a lot of white Chanel flaps so I would love to get your thoughts. The small classic flap is white with light gold hardware and caviar! On the other hand, the mini rectangular is lambskin with light gold hardware in chevron print!

Since the lambskin is prone to scratches... I am leaning more towards the classic flap in white especially I got it before the crazy price increase! I live in Canada where it is mostly winter half of the year lol! With the caviar, I think I'd be able to use it even in the winter time. As for the lambskin, I have to "baby" it a little bit. I believe that both are from the current 20S collection. Now I need to decide which one to keep. HELP!Image.jpeg Image-1.jpeg

i live in canada as well, I do not own any lambskin because I worry about winter. I do own a beige claire in caviar, that I have not worn since last summer.
Is this a special occasion bag? or do you want to wear it everyday ?
The issue is that white is not an everyday bag, or winter bag..
Lamb is not easy for Winter, or rain, or snow...
Do you own any other chanel bags ?

I appreciate your response :) I am getting this bag because I've finally completed my degree while working in my professional job. So I thought it would be a great time to treat myself after those sleepless nights hehe! I was thinking to wear it during the summer and maybe in the winter as well but definitely not when it is -20C outside.

I have another lambskin bag in turquoise rectangular mini that I've used 4x since my purchase March of last year. But because it is lambskin, I try to be more careful. I also have a light beige cocohandle in caviar, black small deauville, and a black caviar WOC. I'm not a fan of black bags so much but I know they definitely match outfits easily.

Any reason why you haven't worn your beige claire that much?

I haven't seen it in person yet! But I will next week and super excited about it. How's the wear and tear of your white CF? I feel like it's a more carefree bag than a lamb when it comes to scratches and weather concerns.

You haven’t seen it yet!? Oh you’re going to be amazed. I don’t think it’ll even be a question once you see it. I haven’t had any issues with wear and tear but I do treat it as a special occasion bag. I’d imagine it will be definitely more carefree than a light colored lamb. I own lamb but not in light colors and I find it to be more durable than people say but I’d be nervous to do a light color. One tip- I did buy an insert for the inside so I wouldn’t get color transfer or scratches on the white leather inside.

Aww now I am getting a too excited to see it in person! I chose the small flap because I feel like it suits my frame better. Do you spray your white CFs with leather protector? How's the wear and tear? :)

Not in person! Ahhhhh, I feel like I need to run to the boutique to check it out lol. I would imagine so. I have a turquoise rect mini in lamb and boy I make sure I baby it. That's why I am having second thoughts on the black mini rect even though it is very popular.

Oh sorry I’ve been having some day wine and didn’t realize the lamb one is in black! For some reason I thought it was another white bag. No worries with that, my boy bag is black lamb chevron and I have a dark grey mini in lamb - both are fine in terms of wear and tear! Can you keep both????

My inserts are from zoomoni but samorga makes good inserts too.

Ah no worries! I would love to keep both but there's a tiny flaw on the black lamb. I received it with a tiny scratch that won't go away :sad: Great will check our zoomoni this time.
