Small classic flap vs mini rectangular?

I can wear the mini both ways (you need a clip for shoulder length), but I can't wair the small cross body.
I don't have a small, my CF is a medium and I have several minis. Based on prices and sizes, I'd go for mini or medium personally.

They’re about the same honestly, but maybe the mini… let me qualify why it works best for me *more often* lol
I can carry it into venues and it’s got a longer chain for crossbody or I can clip chain to shorten.
Both can go day to night which is great. Obviously the medium holds a more.
I never wanted a CF and “won” it at a fundraiser, I carry it more than I expected and even added a similar sized Reissue this past Christmas.
Both have values in my closet!
Maybe get 2 minis?! 😇😇
I have both, I wear them both often for different reasons. If you think both look & feel the same on you, then you should pick based on price like you mentioned. Personally, IMHO although I love minis, a mini is no Cf and vice versa. Of course, this is my personal opinion and it depends on the lifestyle of each individual. I don’t wear my rectangular mini without handle for night events or date nights with my husband. I wear the mini rectangular for traveling, running errands, appointments, etc……. I do wear my CF for date nights, night/day events,, and sometimes when I go shopping that I know later I will go dine out. HTH.
I have the mini and love it so much I purchased the mini w/top handle. I have tried the small and I can’t crossbody it which was a deal breaker for me. That and the price is why I stayed with the minis and I love how easy they are to use! I use them more now than my other bags. I just use crossbody more than other styles for day and they still look great for night.
Mini for sure and you and go for the top handle version if you prefer having the option to hand carry the bag.

😍 Go for the mini!! I have both and love them but the mini is easier to use in many occasions, and in my case I'm very petite so even the mini doesn't look so mini on me. My cf is caviar and it's beautiful but I love lambskin. It's gorgeous.I Agree with you. I wear the mini more often since I can use the clip chain to shorten or crossbody it. However, my sunglasses will not fit with my phone and small card wallet. My medium could be worn cross-bodied but it rides really high on me (I'm 5'8''). Hope you get what you love!
