SAMORGA Bag Inserts for Luggage and Phantom: Pictures, Designs and Measurements ONLY.

The insert for the phantom based on the dimensions they use is too big for my taste. I can't put anything worth while directly in to the interior of the bag. It's a little over powering. Th craftmanship is very nice. However, now that the owner is a member here I hope she takes the concerns some of us have about the over pricing of the felt and labor in to strong consideration. I hate to have spent more then $100 for an insert that I am 90% happy with and without the option to exchange or have altered.

hi ladies, just want to share my samorga insert for my celine mini..
i had a custom one made for me.. because i find the ones she has in her booth for the mini is a tad big..

I gave her my specs, and she did it well!
Length – 10.75 inches
Width – 5.5 inches
Height – 8 inches
after i paid, she shipped the item to me in 2 days, and i got the package in exactly 1 week (im in the US):smile::smile:
happy that i decided to go for samorga.. i find that divide and conquer is more expensive.. for this, i paid a total of $49 (includes shipping)

Samorga.

Hi there. I like your insert. How did you order it? i logged into Etsy.com but there are too many and i can't find the right one. Is there a special place to go to order one for Celine? Thank you.

Here's the Samorga info you need, Nanaz. There appears to be another organizer maker mentioned not too far back in the thread, if you want to compare.

Congrats on your newest acquisitions! Are you keeping all 3? Good for you

I just wanted to share the size of the insert I custom-ordered for my small Trapeze, because I think Samorga's default size (10"L x 5.9"H x 4.5"D) is a tad small by my measurements. I ended up going with 10.2"L x 6"W x 5.8"H. This way the top of the insert hits just below the opening of the inner pockets and the longer sides sit flush with the inside of the bag. I didn't want outer pockets, so this might not be the best size for you if you prefer that. Hopefully this helps someone considering inserts for the same bag

Glad I found your post  thanks for sharing! I'm about to order my Samorga for a small Trapeze and I wondered about going for custom like some TPF members or just going with something pre-made.

Etsy website isn't working for me re: Samorga. Is ordering from Dawanda website good too? They have so many choices!

I can't speak about Dawanda, but if you want a close-fitting insert for the small trapeze, you might want to go 1 cm more in the depth. I found that while mine fits well, there is a bit of room in the depth dimension and sometimes I notice puckering inwards due to that space. Just a thought!

Edit: Oh but keep in mind mine is made out of canvas so it's thinner than what Samorga would use (felt). I still think it could use a little increase though!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write me. Good to know! I noticed that Samorga is officially "off" Etsy anyway and 3 official web stores sell Samorgas & Dawanda is one of them. Art Fire is another one and they have made size selection even easier by making one for Small Trapeze! They are on holidays until June 10. I'll be careful before placing my order. I want 3 Samorgas to start with: sm trapeze, YSL med chyc & del rey bag which is larger. With a variety of these 3, I should be able to switch them around into any other bag.

Is yours by Divide & Conquer perhaps? It's hard to choose...there are several decent options including Oprah's pick: Purseket but their prints are not so appealing to me.

I'm trying one of these too: Cocoon Grid-it in size small (single sided)

Yes, mine is by Divide and Conquer, but I also have one for the mini from Samorga. I really liked that D&C makes reinforced bottoms and my trapeze needed one where my mini didn't. I do miss all the pockets Samorga makes though! If I ever order another D&C I might try to ask Connie to make pockets like Samorga

Please let me know where I can buy the D&C inserts for my trapeze

It's an Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/divideandconquer

She doesn't have a listing for trapeze specifically but you can find one that suits your needs and message her the actual dimensions you want. When I had to do that there was no difference from the original listing. She has options of reinforced, wipe-clean bottom, flexible sides, key fob, or bottle holder. Some of these are included and some are extra depending on the listing, just FYI.

Hi all,

For a celine mini, do you think it is necessary to reinforce the bottom and sides of the Samorga insert?

Or the original is already sufficient to hold the bag's shape?

Thank you for your help!!

I reinforced my bottom with a base shaper (for weight). But the felt of the Samorga seems to hold up pretty well on the sides (length wise). The ends are "collapsable".

I purchased a small black Phantom three weeks ago, and I love the bag but hate that its just like a bottomless black hole. I had been searching the internet for some sort of organizer. This thread was the answer to my prayers!

I just placed a custom order with Samorga for an organizer: W10" x H6.5" xD8.5" in a wine color and I'm so excited! I cannot wait till I get it!

Thank you ladies!

I purchased a samorga for my caramel mini and posted a review video about it.

Here's the link, in case anyone wants to check it out.

Even though these organizers are pretty overpriced, I think they are worth the money at the end of the day. They just keep my bag so well organized and they're so lightweight.

Finally received the custom insert I ordered. It was stuck in customs for about 10 days. Otherwise, the bag was ready in one week. Super fast and friendly service. I highly recommend it. My insert will be used exclusively for my Celine phantom. Size is 11" wide, 7" high and 7" deep. I think I could have done 10" or even 10.5" for the width but it works okay. I've got a ton of little pockets put in and with shipping, it's just $60, which I think is very very reasonable. See attached photos for your reference!
