Hi mad_for_chanel, so things you bought from the same SA are all from the leather goods department? Or some from another departments? As I thought when you want to buy scarfs or other accessories, they will ask you to find other SAs?

Hi billygoat, I bought in this order: Evelyne , 2 belts, 3 scarves , a wallet , passport holder & a cosmetic pouch . The same SA followed me throughout.

I would yes it's safe. I stay in a nearby apartment right next to the Four Seasons and I walk from FSH to the apartment no problem, but I am pretty sure they have unmarked shopping bags. I am too neurotic for hotel delivery.

They do have unmarked bags, but when I bought my B35 in July, they said none of the unmarked bags were big enough to hold the box.

I felt safe enough for the walk from FSH to my hotel, about 15 minutes, and also stopped for a quick lunch at a quaint cafe on the way to celebrate my luck!

I used uber all over Paris (and London) when I was there in June. Super convenient, door to door. Uber was in a big fight with the govt and taxi unions, but if they are still operating, uber is great. My husband was the one who bought the birkin at fsh and met us for lunch at a restaurant near the Eiffel Tower with the big bag and we still felt safe.

Yep, their largest unmarked bag is too small for the B35 box. Next time I might just bring my own unmarked bag.
I didn't see a lot of people with orange boxes, but I saw tons of women proudly carrying their Birkins around the area, and they didn't look nervous or scared at all. I do advise against walking too close to the main roads when you're on the sidewalk, because big European cities like Paris do have a problem with thieves on motorcycles snatching people's belongings. When I'm with DH, I carry my Birkin in a way that it's always snuggly positioned between me and DH, making it much harder for anyone trying to snatch it. Every bit of intervention helps.

The 8th arrondissement of Paris is not at all dangerous during the daytime except possibly for pickpocketing. It's far too busy and too many police for armed robbery, which is the only way someone would be able to steal a big orange bag. That said, that box is HEAVY and I trust H to deliver just fine to hotels.

Uber are not supposed to be operating any more.
