Is it safe for hotel delivery? Since FSH is so busy with so many customers, any possibility that they will mix up the order or delivery to the wrong room or person?
If I visit Paris this Christmas I will try to book the closest hotel perhaps a few blocks away, is it safe to carry a huge shopping bag and walk on the street alone if I was lucky to score a B/K?
I am planning ahead LOL

I would yes it's safe. I stay in a nearby apartment right next to the Four Seasons and I walk from FSH to the apartment no problem, but I am pretty sure they have unmarked shopping bags. I am too neurotic for hotel delivery.

I had my B30 delivered to my hotel since I was heading over toChanel and wanted to walk around the area without having to carry a huge shopping bag. I had the same concerns regarding delivery to my hotel, my SA recommended that I had my bag delivered and said it was safer and that they deliver to hotels all the time. By the time I headed back to my hotel, 2 hours later, my item was already delivered to my hotel. Back in my room, I empty out my largest luggage and locked it away.

Last time I was there (back in January) the SA told me the 1 bag/6 months was for a Kelly and a Birkin only. I bought a Constance and a Kelly Pochette within 2 days of each other, and he said none of these would count.

Last year I was told the KP was part of it though. It depends on the SA I guess :shrugs:

Don't worry, I always have mine delivered to the hotel. They arrive beautifully packaged in my room whilst I am off enjoying Paris. Best wishes!

I usually have my purchases delivered and it's never been an issue, whether the hotel was big or small. Only once for some reason, the hotel misinterpreted the note from FSH and kept it behind the front desk instead of bringing it directly to my room.

thank you ladies!! I am planning my future trip to stay at Sofitel Le Faubourg, which is the closest (I did some research online and found it to be the closest and price is reasonable) and I can just walk there by myself without bringing the kid = )

For those of you not staying close by, there is a taxi stand about 20 ft from the store on FSH. Just head left when you go out of the front doors and you will see a whole line of taxis waiting. I wanted to go right back to my hotel to admire my new bag without waiting for delivery.

i always get the delivery service to the hotel. i feel absolutely safer than popping back on the street with bright orange bags. they usually deliver on the same day, or if you shop after 5pm the delivery will come the next day. enjoy!
