I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I would yes it's safe. I stay in a nearby apartment right next to the Four Seasons and I walk from FSH to the apartment no problem, but I am pretty sure they have unmarked shopping bags. I am too neurotic for hotel delivery.

They gave me an unmarked brown bag, but it was too small for my B35 box, so it was useless at the end. I'm also too neurotic for hotel delivery and, luckily, DH was with me, so I felt much safer.

Last time I totally forgot to ask for an unmarked bag, I also feel like that area is one of the safest in Paris especially since Elysee Palace in a few minutes away.

I would suggest buying the eve at one of the 2 other boutiques if you manage to get a b/k at FSH. I feel like the 1 bag rule only applies to FSH, but may be wrong (this is how I bought 2 bags 2 years ago).

Agree, plus FSH is so busy always, I think I'd enjoy shopping for other things in some other store. I have a list of scarves I'd like to get [emoji2]

Is it safe for hotel delivery? Since FSH is so busy with so many customers, any possibility that they will mix up the order or delivery to the wrong room or person?
If I visit Paris this Christmas I will try to book the closest hotel perhaps a few blocks away, is it safe to carry a huge shopping bag and walk on the street alone if I was lucky to score a B/K?
I am planning ahead LOL
I also recommend hotel delivery. My SA was new, and when I requested hotel delivery, she didn't know how to set it up, but the cashier was able to get her the forms and walk her through it. I was told delivery within 2 hours, and I must admit wanting to go back to the hotel after 2 hours, just to check. The concierge had the delivery recorded in his book- he looked up, and with a big smile, said oh yes madam had a delivery of bags from Hermes- they are already in your room!
If you prefer carrying yourself, do ask for an additional brown bag- they are available.

How much does hotel delivery cost?

On my recent trip, I enjoyed shopping at Serves for scarves and George V for bags (did not buy any bags offered). Both stores were fairly empty.
FSH was too busy for me to walk around and browse.

I love Sevres for everything but bags. The store is quiet and relaxing. The SA from fine jewelry is the sweetest.

Thank you, I will go to that store, really want to see it
Sometimes Sevres is busy with people who are there for Petit H, as it is the only store in which to purchase. The scarf counter is much smaller than FSH. But if you've never been, by all means, go see the store itself--very lovely, and a cafe ( which I've yet to try, but many other TPRers can comment on). And lots of home goods-
