I just wanted to share with everyone that you can get a Kelly in August. I had arrived in Paris from London yesterday. Our hotel was not ready so I went with husband to try our luck for a Kelly @ 24FSH. After waiting for about 30 min the SA asked me what I was looking for (she wrote it down) and also asked for my passport. I gave her 3 names, the kelly being the 3rd name. I was very specific maybe too specific. She came back 10min later with 1 bag and said she didn't have the other 2 & followed up with a "we have no Kelly bags, it's holiday and our Artisan shops are closed blah blah blah" I didn't care for the bag she brought out so I said no thank you. The next day I spent the day with my family exploring Paris. We decided to stop by 24 FSH again. We waited in line for 40 min & finally got an SA. We chit chatted with the SA a bit then she finally got around to asking me what I wanted. This time around I asked to look at a Lindy & Kelly 28 or 32, I was not specific as far as color but did say I wanted gold hardware. She took my passport & was gone for about 20min. While she was away I was crossing my fingers hoping she would take me up stairs or in the men's tie section as she carried the box (bc that's what happened when I got my Birkins). Low and behold she walks out with a box & asks us to follow her into the most remote section of the store. She tells me they had no Lindys but she was able to find me a Kelly 28 with gold hardware. My face lit up & I had that same nostalgic feeling when I got my Birkins. What a beautiful bag! Without any hesitation I purchased the bag. Happy endings for sure ;)

Lucky! Congrats!! Your post just made me hold on to that little tiny bit of hope I had left, just as I was about to give up! Though that's in Paris. [emoji17] I noticed you mentioned London as well? I'm living in London at the moment and was wondering if you had any luck with any of the outlets here. I know this says PARIS, but I was scrolling past, and couldn't help but ask.

Also, how friendly are the SAs (FSH + generally) towards (oriental) Asians? I've heard a lot about discrimination against them, but it seems as if many others also face the same problem? I want to know if SAs in FSH are friendlier because I haven't had luck with other H outlets... Also, this would be my first H bag; anyone suggest mentioning that to the SA?

Many thanks & apologies if I came to the wrong post. [emoji173]️

I'm so happy for you and happy to hear the news that there are bags available! My sister and I just booked a last minute trip for next weekend. She's never been and I just needed a break from every day life. Regardless of whether we score anything or not, I will definitely report back and will enjoy our time there. :sunshine:

Do enjoy Paris regardless of the outcome of the H hunting! Have fun and good luck!

Big congrats! Please share a picture.
A quick question: did you have a purchasing history with them or was it your first time purchase in France? Thanks!

I had studied this thread for months before my Paris trip, now I would like give back to the community to share my experience at FSH and George V last week.

Monday - I went FSH around 11:30 a.m. and wait in lined with my 4 year old daughter, the queue was not too long and my daughter was offered juice and entertained by 2 lovely SAs They asked my daughter if she wants a Birkin, i think that part of the conversation was very sweet. We waited for about 30 mins and was taken care by a male Asian SA. He took down my wish lists and even recommend me don't consider B35 because it's too big for my petite frame, then took down my passport number. He came back 5 mins later and apologized that no bags were available but he did have a short Constance wallet and a Kelly wallet in Croc skin. I took the short constance wallet with a Happy face:D, The SA wrote down his name on a card after I requested.

Tue - Arrived FSH around noon time, again with my 4 year old daughter. We waited for about 20 mins and was helped by a lovely female SA. (this time my daughter was entertained by the security guard ;);) , they had such a fun time and my daughter even requested to go back FSH to see her new friend :D:D. The lovely SA let me tried different sizes of birkin and kelly. She took down my wish list, came back 5 mins later and apologized that no bags were available and she were only able to offer me a Rodeo. Of coz, I took the Rodeo with a happy face. While I was waiting at the cashier, we chatted a bit and she said I could go back to her and try my luck but they have very few deliveries in summer time.

Wed - I went there in the afternoon at around 4 p.m. (with my 4 year old daughter). The queue was not long at all. ( some SAs already recognized my daughter and offered juice to her. I was glad she made new friends at FSH, hahaha) We waited for 15 mins and was helped by another Asian SA. This time I left with empty hands at FSH. but the Asian SA was very friendly,

George V store is just right across my hotel and I do have a few non-leather items I wanted to pick up from Hermes, so I decided to go George V to get those items. We arrived Geroge V around 5 p.m. There were no line at George V, the setting is just like the regular local H stores. I waited for about 5 mins and asked a Male SA if he is available to help me. I told him what I wanted and he took me upstairs (jewelry dep since I wanted to buy a necklace). He again asked me what I would like to buy today, I told him a few items... but then I asked, How about Birkin or Kelly? He response, we will see....

After about 20 mins choosing necklace, cashmere scarf and silk.... he asked me to follow him to a corner and asked if I am interested to get a bag today, I told him "of course". ( sorry ladies, the story has to pause here because I don't feel very comfortable to share what else he offered me to buy before he could offered the B)

At the end, I walked out George V store with a beautiful B30. I am happy :) Next time if I go back to Paris, I think I will still go back to the same SA.

My experience at FSH and George V are very good, very friendly SAs

Congratulations, Eumama! So happy to hear that you were able to get such lovely items on your trip, and it sounds like you had a really nice time as well [emoji4]

I'm also very encouraged to hear that the SA's and security guards at FSH are so sweet to children. I was so nervous about bringing my daughters to the store!

Congrats! But now I am curious did he ask you to buy something absurd?
