Yes and customs duty can be a whopper depending on the item! 100% silk is only 3% but anything composite, for example for some RTW, is like 16%. Also depending on the total value of the items in the shipment, the shipping fee can vary from 65 € to 250 €, which is what I paid for my most recent purchase! So there is probably still a small savings, since the cost is less in euros, but not as much as one would think. I find that I pay less for duty (usually flat 3%) when I bring stuff home with me. But it always feels extra special to get a package from Paris, and sometimes they have stuff that is not available in the US.

I have no excuse then because my closest store is quite close LOL! Sorry, I didn't mean to imply getting items shipped from Paris was a bad thing... just wanted to point out the extra costs in case people were wondering. I still like getting packages from Paris regardless, so I'm with ya!

Yes I’ve been sent some ready to wear, sushi tray, belts, shoes (even bags at the time of covid)… they use DHL.
But you definitely have to pay customs, you’ll have 10% off for the VAT

Same. And it was very nice to have packages sent during Covid when the FSH was closed and I was not travelling.

First of all, I don't want to disappoint anyone, so I want to start by saying that I scored a Picotin 18 Rouge H, GHW.

Last week, I visited a SA with a friend who knew her. She told us to come for today. We went. First, I ordered a scarf that wasn't available in the store. It will arrive in a few days. Then, I bought a black Kelly belt with gold hardware.

The SA said she couldn't help us for an appointment today because of the fashion shows and suggested us to come back next week. She also advised me to drop by the store and say hello every day.

After that, I returned home and went to the Sevres store, which is 5 minutes away from my house, with my kids. I went straight downstairs and said I wanted to look at wallets.

While I was playing rock-paper-scissors with my son, who would turn 8 in just 3 days, a gentleman organizing appointments came over and asked if anyone was assisting me. I said no one had helped me yet and mentioned that I had been trying to get a Picotin appointment for 5 days. He said he would send someone right away. A very sweet SA came. She asked what color I wanted and came back with this beauty. I was very surprised and very happy. I asked the SA if we could do future shopping together. She said yes 😂

My efforts for a Kelly will continue.🙏🏻🧿

Congratulations!!! A picotin in RH is a beautiful find. Love it💕. I just got a K25 togo and a K28 clemence both in this colour and hardware and they’re both so different in shade yet lovely! Sending you lots of Kelly dust x

So I’ve been with my SA at FSH for 3-4 years now and last year she told me I can put bags on my wish list, so very excitedly I did. However whenever I visit or ask if I’m any closer on the wish list she tells me when you come to Paris we will check if the bags are available. So I’m very confused what’s the point of a wish list as anyway you can ask for a bag at the appointment and if it’s there you get it if it’s not you don’t. Am I not understanding this right? Do any of you lovely ladies have any experience with the wish list at FSH?
Any help would be appreciated, I’m so confused😳

It appears this wishlist thing is becoming official. My SA specifically mentioned it again this June and seems to have put a couple of things on wishlist for me, although I am not that clear how it works so far. Perhaps when the items arrive they send you an email to collect, or hold until you arrive, just like SOs? I will certainly update if I get more details.

(I am usually super lazy and average at 2,800-3,200 steps daily) My whole Paris experience was a nightmare, except for H Sevres. There, I was actually treated like a human being.

Visited the 3 stores earlier this week and FSH was a madhouse as expected. I was fortunate to be paired with an SA who was able to help me across departments. (SLGs, silks and shoes). The FSH Shoppers are very aggressive, my SA brought out chypres and we were swarmed as if it were a b/k/c). George V had a massive line so didn’t bother. Sevres was a very pleasant and calm experience. I was unsuccessful with lottery appt and walk in appts. I tried and DH tried for walk ins at FSH and Sevres multiple times in the afternoons.

In hindsight I would’ve done all my shopping at Sevres and I feel a walk in appt would’ve been the most feasible at this location.

I found that the SAs are very selective disclosing their name and handing out their WhatsApp/ contact info.

Either way, had a lovely experience at H and love all the purchases 🥰

Hi everyone my husband just got me the #1 bag on my wishlist.
Had prearranged appointment with our SA at FSH and the store was very busy. He was not on a private room like we used to be.
K25 rose Sakura Phw Swift
we initially had the appointment scheduled next Friday but my SA texted she feared that they’ll have less stock next week.
I feel very fortunate to have this SA and she always tries her best to find me the bag I ask for (although I’ve been asking for this exact bag for a few years)

I love the color and its look. I believe a Kelly in this color can be considered truly classic. Enjoy using it on beautiful days. I hope I'll have the chance to get one soon too.
