I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

The only thing that’s a little annoying @Xthgirl is that it’s a maximum of $100 per billing cycle and we’ve definitely ended up paying more than $100 as a result. However, it is seamless. Also any additional lines on the same account can use the international feature for only $5/day.
Ah, thanks for the clarification @tinkerbell68 ! I am usually only there for a week or less, so the billing cycle hasn't been an issue... but I'm looking forward to the day when it WILL be an issue lol!
Hope you're enjoying Paris! Please post some eye candy when you get a chance!! :flowers:

same. once you subscribe to the international plan, it's $10 a day if you use data roam that day (no charge if you only use wifi) and the max charge is $100 for the month, which actually isn't too bad. you have to call them and activate the plan ahead of time though. it automatically connects when you land and it's totally seamless.
You don't have to call, it's automatic when you turn on your phone and it registers you on an international wireless network. I haven't called in at least 6-7 years. Also, the price went up to $12/day today.

I don’t think all cell phone plans in the US are internationally enabled. (This may have changed since I got my family’s last plan - which was admittedly quite a while ago 😂) I did have to call and add the international plan the first time we traveled after signing up for a family plan.

Hi fellow H lovers,

I have been seeing the kelly picto doll on the secondary market and am just wondering if anyone here has been offered a kelly picto doll in Paris before and if anyone is aware how one can get offered a kelly picto doll since it’s not our “regular” B/K.

Thanks!

Just continue to shop regularly across all departments with your SA, until they ask for your wishlist. This bag tends to be reserved for established clients. A good friend who is a very good client with years of purchase history at FSH, was told once expressed, they (client and SA) only had to wait until the specs arrived.

Thank you so much @periogirl28! 🫶🏻

The weather is unpredictable in Paris. Just enjoy the city for what it offers.
It can rain & then a few minutes later the sun could come out.
No one knows what the inventory will be like, try for a lottery appointment & hope for the best!

Heya, on the same date, I'll be in Paris as well. As far as I know, hotels no longer offer the convenience of arranging appointments. They might not be able to assist you with that. However, there's no harm in asking; I recommend giving it a try. On the other hand, you should definitely try your luck with online booking for all three locations, and as a last resort, you can purchase something from especially the ready-to-wear, fine jewellery sections and then inquire about the bag afterward.

These are some great tips. I’ve been to Paris many times and at different times of the year. I can tell you that the summers are a lot more complicated and difficult to not only get an appointment but also to get a quota bag. I think the most important thing for you to remember is to enjoy your time there and manage your expectations. Good luck!
