I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

What a coincidence! I visited the store on December 23, primarily to explore the new scarf collections. I had arranged an appointment with the SA who had helped me during my previous and only visit to FSH. Though she usually doesn't deal with leather goods, after I picked up some scarves from the new collection, I casually mentioned that I'd love to buy a bag. Surprisingly, after a quick chat with her manager, she offered me a Birkin 30 in Mushroom (Togo leather with gold hardware). Both she and the leather specialist playfully called it my “white Christmas miracle,” as it was the only one in that size and color, and coincidentally, it was exactly what I was hoping for (and kindly requested as my top choice). I was really grateful and couldn’t believe how fortunate I was. It was quite the stroke of luck! Even though it was almost Christmas the store was much less crowded early in the morning (around 10:30) compared to a similar time in July.

My various Paris SAs have sent holiday greetings, requested me to arrange visits soon, confirmed that Muguet Porcelaine is discontinued and reminded me to avoid Paris in summer due to the expected Olympic craziness.
Thanks for sharing! I saw that the Olympics starting in July next year. Would June be in time to avoid the craziness?

Planning for my trip next year.

As anyone (non VIP) received any good push offers (ie. Kelly picnic, bolide on wheels, Himalayas) in Paris? Assuming you have some spend and get a leather appointment.

If so, how would you say your spend for that offer compares to non-a
Paris boutiques? For example those scoring leather appts for regular QBs in Paris (very, very broadly speaking) seem to be able to be offered bags with little spend compared to other countries with regular boutique spend history and relationship.

Wonder if the same applies for “special/push” bags? Easier to get in Paris?
For Blue Box bags and push offers, I think they tend not to offer them to clients with newer histories/ lottery appointments/ walk in appointments. I would say the Paris stores would reserve this group of bags. It seems from the post history going back a long while, the bags offered are mostly regular leather "QBs". I am sure with an amazing one time spend, perhaps or two might appear, (I don't think a Himalaya would) but I dare say not with zero or relatively low prior purchase history.
quick question: how exactly are we defining "push offers"?

I love reading this thread and thought I should update with a happy story of my own. 😊 I visited both FSH and Sèvres stores while in Paris over the Christmas holiday. FSH was extremely busy and didn’t have anything I was looking for. On December 23rd I visited Sèvres looking for Orans in the new season colors. There were none in my size but the SA was lovely in trying to help me find something I liked. I then asked for a pair of Chypres as I’ve had difficulty getting a hold of them. Before checking stock, she pulled up my profile and noticed I have shopped at the boutique previously. We also discussed the fact that the next day was my birthday and I was shopping for presents. (This helped!) We then went into a private room for me to try on the shoes.

After paying for the Chypres I asked if it was possible to make a leather appointment for a mini Evelyne. I love the bag and wanted a light neutral (gray or white). I waited about 20 minutes and before another SA helped me and brought out the bag. I happily purchased a mini Evelyne in the color “New White”. I think a combination of a kind SA, luck and timing worked in my favor.

There was also a scarf show performed while I was there, but I can’t upload the video! Happy Holidays everyone!

Hi everyone. Hope you had an amazing xmas ❤️ wondering if anyone has any experience about the inventory in january? Anyone had any luck or not about reciving a qbag in january? TIA
Stock is low after the high demand during the holidays but….Lunar New Year will create another high demand this January. Overall I think 2024 will be crazy. 🙈

When I was previously at FSH I was offered a new bag style in etoupe, but turned it down. I decided to take another look at it because I feel I rejected too quickly but I couldn't remember the name of it. So, I went back to FSH on Friday. I waited in line at the Leather Desk and witnessed the appointment folks tell everyone there were no cancellations or appointments available.

When it was my turn, I told the young lady, don't worry I'm not looking for a cancellation. She laughed and thanked me. I explained to her that I was there a few days before and was offered a bag but I wanted to confirm the name and spelling of it. I told her what I thought it was called and she was very surprised. She told me the correct name and said she wasn't aware it was already in stock and being sold. I explained that it was beautiful but I wasn't sure it suits me because it's a shoulder bag.

She then offered me a leather appointment on the spot. Needless to say I was beyond shocked. Within five minutes, I had an SA escort me upstairs to a quiet area. I told him the bag I wanted to see. He reconfirmed the spelling and pronounciation then went off to check stock.

He came back with the bag in black and blue de prusse. I asked him if I was still eligible to purchase it since I just bought the Evelyne and B30. He told me this bag isn't limited and that I could buy it. I thought about it but decided my first impression was correct. After I turned it down, he then asked if I was interested in anything else. I said I just got two bags and I understand I'm only allowed 1 QB per 6 months. He told me exceptions can be made and I was thissssss close to asking for another B but decided against it.

This was a wild trip as everyone seemed super accommodating even at George V where I almost scored another appointment on my birthday, but had another engagement so I passed.
Wow, what a great story, super happy for you. And happy birthday!
