My QB are 1B and 1K + Lindy at same time as the Kelly :) so this makes 2QB and 1 NQB in 3months (I also got another Kelly in the same course of 3months in my home store in Europe). My SA told be to contact him anytime for leather appointments, even this year, as I asked the question. That is why I believe there is actually no strict rules. Some will be told 1 per 6 months, others 2x in a year, others no limit ...

I also want to add my personal experience. Late last year I was brought to the dressing room and the SA brought 3 boxes. It turns out to be 1 QB and 2 non-QBs. I was shocked at first and ask if I could buy them all as I love them and the SA yes.

Yeap exactly. This is so stupid, honestly. And then you see the people who cursed out the sales people and managers walk out with a bag. Yeap, my husband and I witnessed this yesterday on rue de sevres.

I applied for an appointment today using my work phone (my personal phone still says blocked 😂) and I did receive a confirmation email today (alas, no appointment though!) when my bf also applied today too he received no confirmation email though.

It’s 2023, it together Hermès tech department.

Sharing my experience in Paris, even though I did not manage to get an appointment. I was there for a week end Oct/early Nov, applied every day with no success. Also, it was raining nearly every day :lol:.
I did buy a few small items at FSH, cosmetics, bandana, silver jewellery and when paying at the desk, I did ask the final SA we had if there was any chance for an appointment. She asked what kind of bag I was interested in and I aimed high asking for a Kelly. She then told me the iconic bags definitely need an appointment and won't be possible for that day. She even told me to keep asking daily at the leather desk just in case, but I had so many other plans, I did not go every day.
Went to Sevres a few days later as wanted to see the store and also petit h items, which I felt there were not many items available, did not purchase anything but asked at the leather desk and while they did say it was a quiet day due to bad weather, they could not see any chance for an iconic bag appointment. The "iconic" kept coming up, with every SA, first time for me hearing SA's call K/B in that way.
Went back to FSH a few days later and bought an SLG, I asked the SA and he told me to go straight to the leather desk and ask, but again I was told online appointment needed for iconic bags.
None of the leather desks were rude or off-putting about me asking, and the SA's said to keep checking in with the leather desk when possible. Each time the SA's asked what kind of bag I was looking for and only said no after I said I was after a Kelly, so if anyone is looking for any of the other bags like Lindy/Evelyn etc, I feel like they would be available without an appointment. This is purely my personal opinion based on the discussions I had with SA's and the leather desks.
I didn't mind not getting an appointment and shared my experience with my home SA. I was more interested in enjoying the museums, food and desserts :biggrin:
It's always worth a try, there's nothing to lose. Good luck to everyone heading to Paris in the future.

My SA previously said he/she was looking forward to seeing me this month and to contact him/ her early this month when he/ she knows the proper schedule. We contact via email. So it is quite saddening and weird to being ghosted at the very last minute.

Will definitely try enquiring at the store upon arrival to see if I can look for my SA and will also try for the online appointment.

Most SAs at all the designer boutiques go on extended vacation in November since they can't be off during December. Both of my LV SAs were off for 2 weeks this month.

I walked in and out at first because it seemed a bit busier then. Walked back in later with my mini Kelly on and the SAs commented on how much they love it. I asked about a belt.. she didn’t have it. I asked about more belts.. she didn’t have it, but she showed me another one and I said I’d take it. Asked about calvi duos in creams or pinks, but she only had black and vert fizz. Asked about Clair de Lune in black, but only saw the camel color. Went to look at jewelry, but none of the rings were in my size (couldn’t find a lot in my size while in Paris either). Asked about the pave finesse earrings and if a Lindy might be available. She said a Geta might be, but I asked for the Constance instead. She said she’ll see what she can do. It had to be brought from another location (not sure if it was another terminal boutique or a stock room); the ones for display weren’t available for me to purchase.

I believe I overheard someone directly asking if they could purchase something to buy a bag and they were declined while I was there.

(I was looking for the airport threads, but for some reason couldn’t find them. I thought I had them bookmarked, but I didn’t use the search function either. I didn’t take any photos because my hands were already full from totes of chocolate :giggle:.)

So am I understanding this correctly, you bought the pave Finesse earrings to be offered the C18?

Yes, I don’t think I would’ve been offered without the earrings. I was looking for a Mini Lindy/Lindy 26 and didn’t expect a Constance to be available instead.
