Paris trip for Hermes

Currently in Paris and went to FSH on Saturday (to browse) and today for a leather appointment that I arranged with my SA a few weeks ago
Stock on SLG is catastrophic. I did not ask for stock on shoes.
On Saturday I bought 2 belts (one in new blue jeans and navy blue and one in rose Azalee and vert comics) and the new libris poncho in denim.
The SA asked me what I would pair my new blue jeans belt with. I told her : with my new bag that I’ll buy on Monday ! We both laughed.
Today I went in for ou appointment and told my SA that there was only one bag on my wishlist : A Kelly 25 or 28 in New blue Jeans.
I knew that it was a new color and chances that it would be available was very slim + I haven’t seen Kelly in this color beside mini Kelly on social media.
I was so excited when my SA came back and she told me that it wasn’t a 25 but because color was the most important thing to me she brought a Kelly 28 I was over the moon.

Also I wanted to share what my other SA told me stock on bags right after Fashion week isn’t that low and they have plenty of stock. That means that when an SA tells you that they have no stock because it’s Fashion week it’s a lie.

Finally I waited for my SA for about 10 min and I’ve seen at least 5 person asking for an appointment. They were all rejected. Imagine how many are asking the same thing per day!

I am kinda sad if I would not be able to shop with my SA and am also not sure if I should even go back but just visit cold call and show up. It may be very weird.

Very tough situation! Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Don't go to Paris for Hermes only. Unless you live in the area. Also the SA could be on a leave and not responding. But I do not know how much time has passed since your last contact.

Not all SA's respond as timely as you would like. Perhaps she is just busy. Be a little patient
I would not let not having a SA stop me from my shopping in Paris or for that matter in any of H stores.
There is likely an opportunity to meet another SA & continue your shopping experience if you choose to.
.Consider the possibility of your SA no longer working at H.
Your personal history can be looked up.
If you are planning a Paris trip just for Hermes shopping & perhaps another QB, that might be
a big consideration (appt needed) if you are just going to be generally shopping for RTW & other items there
should be opportunities to perhaps find another SA

Good news contribution.

Walked in to FSH store on Tue late 4pm, near 5pm. Went up to the leather desk to ask for a leather appointment. I was told to take a seat and I am the next one to be served.

Asked for bkc and other non quota bags and, was offered a Constance mini and Evelyn mini (not in my list of non quota).

Probably some context
1. Was told by SA they usually serve a 100 customers daily for leather appointments
2. But past Tuesday the leather appointment started at 2pm due to stock take in the morning
3. I asked for the appointment at the leather stand when no other customers were there.
4. Was asked for my profile while waiting before anybody served me.

Relax and enjoy the experience.

A connection with an SA is kinda over rated for any bag offer (which I am sure your advice is not meant to be for). I shopped with the same SA for the 2nd year now and no bag offer. She still advised me to go try the lucky draw online. But I had a great experience making some purchases and ordering certain items that I could not get in other stores. It was nice to be served by a familiar face.

The problem in paris is that not all SAs can help you with a bag. Especially in FSH. Only the leathers SA are able to sell you a bag unless you’re a big big spender

Yup, that’s right.
The SA I shop with is in Sevres store. She can sell from all departments and did ask me for my bag wishlist. Unfortunately, still nothing.

Anyway, France is not just about paris and paris is not just about Hermes.
Enjoying the trip is most important.
