Doubt very much that the bed bugs are in the hotels most of these posters would stay at
I contacted several hotels & they had "no issues" including the Bristol, Crillion, Bvlgari, Plaza Athenee,
George V, Cheval Blanc as I am leaving for a trip shortly & staying at one of these hotels,JMO

If there are bugs on the metro and at the airport they are in the hotels. Bed bugs don't discriminate and I would highly doubt a 5 star hotel, or any hotel for that matter, would tell you that they had a bed bug problem.

Yes bed bugs don't discriminate but sense that many of the luxury hotels were ahead of this to
ease the minds of their guests, especially repeat guests..
The media has "dramatized" this as well, IMO.. Paris is not infested by any stretch of the imagination
Concierge was very discreet & feel confident that no reputable hotel would put their guest in
an uncomfortable situation..

@880 agree here. At some point in time, hotels all over the world have various issues to deal with
some becoming more newsworthy than others.
I also feel reassured that all Parisian hotels would take every precaution necessary
to ensure the comfort of their guests & that there is always a discreet way to ascertain info that
is important to a guest, especially a repeat guest.
Like many of us that have relationships with our SA's around the globe, many of us also have
special relationships with concierges at our favorite hotels.

@secretshunshine ,to the delight & dismay of others, this is a forum meant to share knowledge even if its asked
numerous times, so @880's point is well taken

Just want to quickly update after my trip during paris fashion week. I was there from Monday to Saturday. Applied daily for appts, with 4 passports. No rejection email, and as expected, no acceptance email either LOL.

I went to all 3 locations and one at Heathrow airport. I cutely inquired about leather appt cancellation (i went in the late afternoon).

George V told me no B/K/C, but offered me blue pale tpm evelynne and garden party 30 (i declined).

Sèvres joked with me: “madamme, whats the point of me telling you about the bags if you have no appointment??” I had to laugh out loud, i enjoyed that roast more than I should lol.

FSH was beyond busy, SA gave me like
2 min of her time. My entourage was getting hungry and tired, so we quickly exited.

Heathrow has nothing.

I left Paris completely empty handed of anything Hermes-related. stores were just too busy to enjoy chatting/browsing. My real objective was to obtain a pegasse charm, which only Sevre had. I didnt like any of them.

I thoroughly enjoyed Paris and the hype is all true! The locals were very nice, even tho I accidentally said "good bye" with "bonjour!". I cannot wait to come back!

Last November, our friends and us (4 passports) applied everyday for two weeks. No go. But at that time we did get the rejection emails.

Is anyone else have problems applying for online appointment. I am not receiving the email to confirm the appointment so not even getting in the lottery for the day. I can’t even email customer service. Could it be anything to do with getting a walk in in august? (It was for a non quota bag) any advice would be great, thanks

Are you currently in Paris? If so, go in and explain how you aren’t getting the confirmation email. Don’t apply for the day yet so you can show them you’re filling out the form but aren’t getting the email.
