By the end of September is fashion week I believe. At the end of October is Vacances de la Toussaint. (All Saints break 22/10 till 07/11) In between might be good. I have my trip planned mid-October. Will be there just for a few days.
Also, they have Rugby World Cup in October, which might also see a lot of people visiting the stores.

Currently in Paris. Had an appointment with the SA I met last October on the 2nd day of our trip. She surprised my sister and I with our dream bag at the end of our shopping trip- Birkin 30 Togo black with PHW and black Kelly 28 with GHW Sellier in Veau Madame photos to follow when we unbox. We got lucky because all of the items we asked for were in stock. ❤️️
Congrats! Sometimes luck is all that you need.

Congrats babe! I’m so happy for your sister and yourself!
Did your SA pass you her email or her direct work mobile during your first trip for you to get in touch with her?

Just wanted to add my experience as I came back from Paris yesterday. Just for some background I live in London so myself and partner have been trying to get an appointment everyday since April. I arrived on Monday morning and went straight to FSH store and queued outside for about 10 mins as it hadn’t opened yet. As expected everyone headed to the leather goods area and all we’re asking for appointments. I was told that there wasn’t anything and to try later. Then I went to Sèvres store and was told the same thing. I did however see people with lots of RTW asking about a Constance and they were asked to sit whilst they went to check. I then went and did some sightseeing and around 4 went to George 5 store. The lady with appointment pad was very lovely and said she would ask her manager if I could have an appointment and to wait. After about 15 mins I was told that I could have one and to wait for an SA. It was another 10 mins and we got introduced to a lovely sa who sat us down and asked what we wanted. I was after a Constance 18 or a mini Lindy. Whilst I was waiting I could hear various people asking for Constance and were told there wasn’t any so I didn’t have a lot of hope. The sa did tell me straight away that there were no mini Lindy but asked me what colours I liked in Constance. She then went away and it felt like the longest time she eventually returned and said the magic worlds “can you come with me please” I was taken to a private room and shown a beautiful Constance 18 with mirror in gold in Epsom leather and palladium hardware. I’m not a palladium girl but the bag was so beautiful and I have wanted one for so long that I said yes please. I really couldn’t believe my luck as I have not been able to get an appointment but I came away that day with a Constance!
I did go to FSH the following day at the following time and spoke to leather goods about the mini Lindy but apparently they are sold out in all stores I was offered another appointment as I was carrying my mini Evelyne she said I could see if there was anything else but I had to decline as already got a bag.
So to summarise, don’t be disheartened if you keep getting rejected I had no appointments and was offered bags. There is no magic formula but I do think going later on in the day helped as that was when they said yes to me!

Congrats! What a wonderful experience it must have been. Enjoy your Constance.

Ok thanks...so I guess early to mid September is ok?
I'm not sure. I never visited Hermes when I visited Paris in September. I always felt intimidated by the large crowd. And no one really knows how H decides who gets an appointment or a bag. It depends a lot on the SA.
But I do love Paris in September as Parisians are coming back and the city is a little less crowded with tourists. Somehow I think the ambiance is different as everyone has gotten some time off to enjoy summer and are preparing for the Autumn collections.

DH and I have visited Paris and FSH frequently, at different times of the year and it's a very different atmosphere depending on the season. I tend to avoid Fashion Weeks now, due to the madness and crowds and also the summer weeks when my SAs are away. Early Spring is quieter and some weekdays it's definitely more tranquil than others. Christmas has its own unique charm and I really enjoy the special holiday illumination and the events FSH always has planned.

Does how you dress and what bags you carry matter?

I visited Paris in May 2022, March 2023, May 2023 and June 2023. On each of the trips, I would visit either FSH or Sevres. 2 of the trips were work trips so I didn’t carry a B or K. Went straight after meetings and I had with me a simple laptop bag and a CC/D bag. Was unsuccessful when I requested for walk-in appts. But guess what, on the 2 leisure trips that I went in-store with my B or K, I was able to get appts from the leather desk.

Now I’m not saying that you have to carry your QBs. I’m just insinuating that it might help when the leather desk SA tries to assess if you’re a genuine Hermes customer.

Of course, my experiences may be unique to myself and shouldn’t be interpreted as oh it has to be this way.

When I was in Paris in April/May this year, I visited all three stores a few times (we were there for five weeks). The day that I got a walk in appointment and was offered a Kelly, I was wearing an Adidas/Y3 track dress, Birkenstocks, a nylon cross-body bag, and had my groceries with me...as you suggest, I'm not sure there are 'rules' and if we all try to follow imaginary rules without success, we're bound to be disappointed.
