I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Yes they can view your profile. It’s better to buy in store if you can but I had no issues with doing an online order. I had to do an extra step at the store to detaxe.
Thank you! I know that when the SA pull out your profile on their phones they can see the store items you bought in store over the past few years. So you think they can also see your online purchases on your same store profile? I am asking because there are items that I want to buy and am hoping to build a better purchase history in Paris. If what I buy online doesn’t “contribute” towards my purchase history in my store account then I probably won’t buy online (although will then have to risk that the item may not be available in store)!

You SA can order items from online while you are in the store.

What I did was watched for things on the French h.com. Ordered it with a pickup at one of three H stores in my case I chose Sevre H. Told my sa it was ordered. It arrived to the store in two days. I went to store. Now I do not know what happened behind the scenes maybe another poster has the answer, but I believe the item somehow maybe returned and repurchased under my sa. The vat paperwork is processed and provided at checkout. I do not do this often. Only when it’s something my store doesn’t have or color I want etc. I do most of my purchasing through my sa. Hope this helps.

I agree with you. Whenever I travel to Paris, I love to visit FSH and Sevre for some shopping. Instead of looking for something specific, I enjoy browsing the store and chatting with the friendly staff. It's always a pleasant surprise when I come across unique finds, like a leather cap with Himalaya. While I prefer shopping at my regular store, I also like discovering one-of-a-kind ready-to-wear pieces that I can't find elsewhere.
I love my local boutique, my SA and the SM, but the breadth of inventory in Paris is so much wider and deeper. Most of my H RTW came from one of the Paris stores where I’ve found beautiful pieces that I’ve never seen in the States. Ditto re shoes, housewares and the vast array of silks! So much to enjoy in the three stores.

I believe they can, at least in one of the stores in Paris. My SA offered to do this with me in the store when she could not order a piece of FJ that I liked.
Yes I do think so too. Both my SA in the Netherlands and Belgium said the same to me: If I wanted something they could order it for me if it was available online.
I would think so too. But maybe the flowers were from the SA and not from H ;).

Just went to Paris, wanted to visit all the 3 Hermes stores so ordered a few items to be collected at all 3 stores.. Went to FSH and Sevres, they did tax refund for the online orders - no problem at all.. Went to George V, met a nice SA but told me no - can’t do tax refund for online orders…its a rules and regulation across all Hermes outlets..I was shocked by the
is comment..Spoke to their store manager and told them FSH did a tax refund for me but STILL they refused to do it for me... Feeling upset, I went back to FSH the next day to check and informed what I have experienced.. They happily did the refund for me and gave me box of biscuits to apologise.. they taken my feedback very seriously and said they made a call to George V to make sure these things don’t happen again…

Anyway, happy to get all tax refunds sorted out and visited all stores but sad cause unable to get a leather appointment after all…lol..it’s really tough to get a leather appointment!!
