When I was in Paris in April/May this year, I visited all three stores a few times (we were there for five weeks). The day that I got a walk in appointment and was offered a Kelly, I was wearing an Adidas/Y3 track dress, Birkenstocks, a nylon cross-body bag, and had my groceries with me...as you suggest, I'm not sure there are 'rules' and if we all try to follow imaginary rules without success, we're bound to be disappointed.
Love to read this.

Hello everyone!
I got an online appointment in August, and was lucky to be offered a constance bag.
I was wondering to know your experience. How long do you think i need to wait in order to get a birkin bag. Is it possible to get 2 online appointments in one year? Do you have any experience or advice for me

Hello!
Does anybody know how long FSH keeps the purchase history?

I used to score a B30 in 2017 but unfortunately wasn’t able to come to Paris until now and don’t even remember the name of my SA. I am planning a trip there this winter and of course I count for an online or walk-in appointment)) hope my last purchase history helps, but will SAs be able to see it?

Congratulations on your new purchase, do you mind sharing a picture, What colour did you get and did you ask for a Constance specifically? Most importantly how long have you been applying . Thank you

Perhaps they could, but at this point it's probably a bit irrelevant so just proceed as normal and good luck!

Just wanted to add my experience as I came back from Paris yesterday. Just for some background I live in London so myself and partner have been trying to get an appointment everyday since April. I arrived on Monday morning and went straight to FSH store and queued outside for about 10 mins as it hadn’t opened yet. As expected everyone headed to the leather goods area and all we’re asking for appointments. I was told that there wasn’t anything and to try later. Then I went to Sèvres store and was told the same thing. I did however see people with lots of RTW asking about a Constance and they were asked to sit whilst they went to check. I then went and did some sightseeing and around 4 went to George 5 store. The lady with appointment pad was very lovely and said she would ask her manager if I could have an appointment and to wait. After about 15 mins I was told that I could have one and to wait for an SA. It was another 10 mins and we got introduced to a lovely sa who sat us down and asked what we wanted. I was after a Constance 18 or a mini Lindy. Whilst I was waiting I could hear various people asking for Constance and were told there wasn’t any so I didn’t have a lot of hope. The sa did tell me straight away that there were no mini Lindy but asked me what colours I liked in Constance. She then went away and it felt like the longest time she eventually returned and said the magic worlds “can you come with me please” I was taken to a private room and shown a beautiful Constance 18 with mirror in gold in Epsom leather and palladium hardware. I’m not a palladium girl but the bag was so beautiful and I have wanted one for so long that I said yes please. I really couldn’t believe my luck as I have not been able to get an appointment but I came away that day with a Constance!
I did go to FSH the following day at the following time and spoke to leather goods about the mini Lindy but apparently they are sold out in all stores I was offered another appointment as I was carrying my mini Evelyne she said I could see if there was anything else but I had to decline as already got a bag.
So to summarise, don’t be disheartened if you keep getting rejected I had no appointments and was offered bags. There is no magic formula but I do think going later on in the day helped as that was when they said yes to me!
Yasss! Congrats and thank you for sharing your experience!

DH and I have visited Paris and FSH frequently, at different times of the year and it's a very different atmosphere depending on the season. I tend to avoid Fashion Weeks now, due to the madness and crowds and also the summer weeks when my SAs are away. Early Spring is quieter and some weekdays it's definitely more tranquil than others. Christmas has its own unique charm and I really enjoy the special holiday illumination and the events FSH always has planned.
Yass! I’m aiming to go in April 8-15 to avoid the fashion week and holiday crowds :)

Thank you very much!
I got noir with phw in epsom leather. I asked for Birkin 25 in neutral color, and as my second choice constance ( becase SA told me that there were no kelly or birkins as my appointment was late in the day)
I applied 3 times in May got rejected and got confirmation at first try last week

Go brandless, Hermes or go home. CC/D are competitors, maybe it turns the SAs off, lol. Me trying to see a pattern when there is none, probably

Ok thanks...so I guess early to mid September is ok?
IMO only if you go too soon after August, stock may not be replenished. Could be low. But that’s only my theory.
I do think that if you are lottery, it is simply the luck of the draw, whether your SA has been allotted a bag to show, and if you are the lucky individual who gets one.

I tend to avoid Fashion Weeks now, due to the madness and crowds and also the summer weeks when my SAs are away.

I go in September. My FSH SA told me that if I want to see the RTW for the next season without obligation to go the last day of fashion week in September, but I have not managed to do so yet. Last year I went before fashion week, and my SA literally mumbled that she didn’t want all the bags to go to FW VIPs. I got my 28K quadrille. But, I have an FSH SA and a pre scheduled appt. DH also prefers to travel in September and hates to travel in the summer.

Does how you dress and what bags you carry matter?
Where what you normally wear to be comfortable. But, the advantage to wearing premier RTW for your SA is that she may more quickly ascertain your preferences by your choices.

Kelly, I was wearing an Adidas/Y3 track dress, Birkenstocks, a nylon cross-body bag, and had my groceries with me...as you

I love your style. It’s both authentic to you and absolutely gorgeous, with or without the kelly

home. CC/D are competitors, maybe it turns the SAs off, lol.

LOL, @horeslove. :) I love premier RTW more than bags, and that’s what I like to wear. It’s also easier for an SA to ascertain my taste ans style if I wear my normal. As a matter of both preference and appreciation, for a RTW appt, I like to mix the brand’s RTW with other brands (I dislike the head to toe look in a single designer). Since, I prefer less logo intensive items, they can mix more readily. NY SA loves Dior (and Prada of all things). The NY bespoke SA used to work at Dior. And, a sweet Dior SA that I met in Rome, used to work at Hermes. So, there is considerable overlap. My FSH SA asked about and loved my courreges pants (I got the distinct impression that she wears courreges herself on off hours bc it fits well and is relatively well priced). No one bats an eyelash at my footwear which is usually a pair of birkenstock slip on sneakers or MtM hiro yanagimachi sneakers.

ETA: when I’ve gone to Hermes FSH, I wear my travel bags, either my Loewe mini puzzle or dior men’s black leather saddle, adjustable crossbody seatbelt strap, no hw. I sometimes go back for a subsequent RTW appt, and then I will wear an H bag or QB that I just purchased. Since, I’ve gone into granular detail :) , here are favorite travel outfits that I have worn to FSH where I have gotten a 25QB : Dior no logo, mixed with Hermes and chanel. These are typical of the style and color I wear normally when I am not shopping. When I got my first 25K from FSH (my first visit), my SA said she would have appropriate RTW selections for me in my size the next morning if I could come back. When I said sure, she asked, “RTW separates in dark colors, yes?” Lol. I don’t usually wear dresses when I plan to try on RTW bc I need tops or bottoms to try things on.

Just went to check out FSH- I’m not really in need of a new bag because my home SA just surprised me with a B25 in May, but who knows when I’ll be here again, so I went to try my luck to see if they would give me a walk in appointment- it goes without saying that I haven’t had any luck with the lottery system. When I first arrived I was quickly rejected by the young lady at the appointment desk, so I went to look at RTW and picked out a swimsuit (Hermes swimwear is my favorite!). The shoe department was smaller than I remembered and also nuts so I didn’t even bother. As I was leaving I noticed the leather host had changed so I asked again and while this one was quite a bit nicer than the first one he still said there were no cancellations. We leave on Tuesday so if I feel up to it I may try again tomorrow or Monday, but I feel torn about spending time waiting for rejection when I have a great SA at home.

Hi! I just returned home from France yesterday. I did only apply twice out of the 10 days I was there. No luck. However I did go to FSH looking for a gifts for my brother and mom. I did meet some really friendly and helpful sales associates that helped me. I didn't bother to ask for a leather appointment while there or for openings. I was more than happy with the little gifts I did purchase.

Great choice, was it the mini or the C24? If you don’t mind can you share a picture? wear in great health of body, mind and soul.
