I am heading to for Paris in early November. Was wondering if anyone had recent lottery experience during the fall?

I was in Paris November 2022. I tried six times for a lottery appointment and did not get one. I was, however, able to get a leather goods walk in appointment and was offered and purchased a Constance 24 re-edition. I was extremely lucky because I saw so many people ask for appointments and get turned away. I purchased some scarfs while I was in Paris but did not spend a lot.

I was surprised how busy and crowded all the Hermes stores were in November 2022. The museums and other popular stores (Chanel, Goyard, LV) were very busy as well. I thought it would be off-season and slow in November but instead the tourist shoppers were out in force. I plan to back in Paris in November 2023 since its a good time for me to travel, but will have very low expectations around Hermes lottery.

Got lucky with a lottery appointment in Paris this week and I managed to score a QB.

Based on my experience, I can confirm that there’s no such thing as a free lunch in Paris at the moment via the lottery system. I don’t want to go into details but there’s accompanying spend involved on appointment day. And it’s definitely more than 1:1. Very consistent with global prespend requirements.

The saving grace is, the SA was awesome. Makes you so comfortable that you want to spend. And the QB was a rather lovely offer. More than makes up for my lousy exp at FSH in May.

So ladies, don’t give up on trying! The lottery system really allocates slots but whether you score a QB, it’s up to you.

Hi All,
I was wondering if the SAs in Paris give out their personal contact to their clients.
When I was in Paris, I connected with an SA and when I asked for his contact, he gave me his email and told me I could connect/contact him via email. So was just wondering if they don’t give out their personal contacts because they don’t deem us as a “good” client.
Am thinking of popping over in Nov/Dec to purchase a couple of items and was hoping the same SA can help me with it.

The SA I was assigned to gave me his personal details (WhatsApp), at the end of the appointment, after payment he told me to wait few minutes and gave me his card where he has noted manually his WhatsApp number for further requests and appointments.

I did not asked anything, not even his card. I believe it should come from them  We quite clicked during the appointment and I think it helped.

EDIT : I only purchased bags that day. I don't think it's a matter of spending, just getting along.

This is exactly what happened for me too. The one thing I would add for me though is even though the SA wrote her personal WA number on the bcard, I think she might have been using a corporate phone. I noticed she would read and reply to my txts generally only during business hours.

In my experience, SAs in Paris do not give out personal contacts. They keep their business and personal lives separate which is something I have encountered in the years I have in lived in Europe. I would not take that as discouraging at all, in fact many SAs do not give any follow up information. They have work email addresses and the Whatsapp contact mobile number they give out are assigned by the store, for use during work hours. Go ahead and email for an appointment before you plan to visit again.
