I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Yes it was at FSH. I already have a tpm in gold and wanted a pop of colour, but my local boutique only gets neutral classic colours that’s why I tried paris. What colours are you looking for?
Would love a bright blue or green. But heard these are more difficult colours to get? Also wouldn't mind black or gold . Everytime I've been in a store I've popped in to ask but most times they've never had any in stock. Been to London and also Rome with no joy. But I've heard European stores are easier for the tpm size .

I dont think one is better than the other. Honestly I think it's the Hermes system that arbitrarily causes the issue. I have an Android so I used Edge. However I have Chrome as well. If you tried using Safari before, try Chrome.
I've actually never requested an appointment. Just curious in case I do. I just know, from past experience, that different websites don't always work with different browsers. I just went through something with a client who couldn't fill out an application, and when I called the application provider first words out of her mouth were "Is she using an Android?" Had to have the client locate and fill out the application on a computer.

is it possible to move the time of your appointment to later in the day? i know earlier appointments are usually more in demand. my flight doesn't arrive in CDG until 8:50 AM but i am worried between customs + train if i get a 10:30 AM appointment i won't make it in time and will be late. we don't have check in luggage only cabin but i just worry and don't want the stress of rushing every day, plus if there is a flight delay or a busy day at the terminal we might be late regardless.

or is it better to just not apply for my first day in paris and avoid the stress? i am only going to be there for 5 days total so i just wanted to make the most of it.

IMHO, apply for a day you know you can make it. It's not only stressful for you, but if you don't make it, you also prevented someone else from qualifying for the opportunity.

Also, if you do get an appt the day you arrive and you miss it for some reason, it'll be very hard to get another online appt during the time you are there (assuming you don't live in France). As a general matter, although there are always exceptions, H is not that flexible about rescheduling these online leather appts so you need to be there at the time and even watch your appt time throughout the day on the app b/c it often gets moved earlier or later. That happened to me this June. If you had a little more time between arrival and store opening, I think it might make sense to try for an appt, but 8:50 AM arrival time is pretty late. I arrived on a Saturday and it took me a little over an hour to get out of CDG and another 2 hrs to get to the center of Paris. So much traffic! If you arrive on a weekday, it shouldn't be as bad (at least that's what my driver told me). lol.

Have also been asked recently what else I purchase during my FSH appointments. In all my visits I have never come home with more than 5 items. One bag, a pair of shoes, one cashmere and some small items like a charm or wallet etc. Once I bought a more significant piece of Fine Jewellery that was it for that visit. When no bags are suitable, we place an SO.
I have never ever maxed out my annual worldwide quota of bags at FSH let alone any other store where I shop. My collection was formed very slowly and over Covid I only purchased 2-3 pieces of RTW and shoes via charge send per shipment.
Second last visit I was offered a K25 Quadrille and my SA managed to find me a Trousse Rooroo which I bought bec of the Fauve Barenia panel. This most recent visit I purchased one pair of sandals (non- exotic) after being shown the Croc mini Roulis and my Mini Kelly both of which I accepted.
So far collecting very slowly and steadily has worked for me perfectly and I believe it has helped sustain my relationship at FSH for these 16 years.
