I haven't been recently first thing in the morning, but if there are lines for leather appointments I'm guessing they're pretty much all going to be disappointed unless they have an appointment! I went a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday afternoon, no lines to get in. I was only after a lipstick and a bit of a browse. I had a look around, then waited maybe five minutes at most for someone to help me. Other departments may be a longer wait, but I think if you don't go at opening (or on a busier day maybe) there shouldn't be a line to get in.
There’s 2 lines at fsh before opening.. the one on the left are those who have appt.

Congratulations on your B30! The color is beautiful and I like how it matches your outfit  May I check with you the cost of this bag in €? My friend got a Togo B30 recently and told me that she paid more than 9K € for the B which doesn’t sound right to me. I thought the price tag was 8,150€ only
I got a B30 retourne in Togo last month and it’s 8900.

Hey everyone,

It’s just a little over a week before my trip to Paris and of course I want to stop by the FSH . One question about the lines that apparently appear regularly in front of the stores: Are they for leather appointments only or do I have to wait to enter even to shop RTW?
There was a short line today (Saturday) in front of FSH in the middle of the day. People didn't seem to wait for too long though.

So worth it since you get the VAT back too. the hardest part is getting offered one.
I agree. For those who might not know, you don't get the full VAT back, you only get 50% back, if you choose to be refunded to your cc, less if you choose cash. It is still better than buying in the US though. Ideally would be to buy it duty free (at the airport).

I’m back with a success story! In short, I had a lovely SA and was able to get a mini Constance, beton, swift with gold hardware.

After I posted in this thread, I refreshed my link a few more times and got a message saying ‘please contact hostess for further information’. This was at about 3:15pm. Husband and I made our way to FSH and stopped at a few places as well. I wanted to skip those places but perhaps that was how things were meant to go!

We arrived at approximately 4pm. I spoke to the leather appointment hostess. She was lovely! I actually met her on Saturday when I popped in to ask about cancellations. Was told unfortunately none but I can try on Monday. She remembered me and was happy that I managed to get an online appointment. The store was mayhem as usual!

I was assigned an SA at 4:19am. She greeted us with a lovely smile and I had a good vibe already! We had some small talk on the way up to find a table to sit. I gave her my preferences. First preference was a K25 sellier GHW in gold epsom or fauve barenia. Second preference was a B30 touch, GHW in gold or gris perle. Third preference was a mini Constance, GHW, light summery colour.

She offered us drinks and went way to search. She came back about 10 mins later and asked us to follow her. We went up to the watch area on the first floor. She had two boxes. A medium size and a smaller one. She said unfortunately we don’t have anymore B or K. However, I found a mini Constance in a summery colour. She opened the box and it was a mini Constance with SHW, chèvre in Jaune Bourgeon. It was beautiful! I loved that it was chevre but I preferred GHW so I asked if there were any with GHW. She checked on her iPhone and read out the colours available. They had Beton, Gold and Gris Meyer. I asked to see the Beton and it was an instant yes! The price was 7250 euro.

The second box had a mini Evelyn in Sausage. Not my cup of tea so I kindly declined. I then asked whether a Kelly pochette was a quota bag and she said no. I asked her to see if there were any available. She went off for about 5-10 mins again and came back saying unfortunately none available. She also said Constance was not a quota bag.

While we were waiting we were offered drinks a few times. Overall I had a wonderful experience at FSH.

I applied specifically for FSH only and was successful on my 4th try. I was just wearing what I’d normally wear - Thom Browne skirt, white tshirt and CDG converse sneakers. I had my mini lindy with me.

Can’t believe I was able to get a bag this trip. I have been unsuccessful the last 3 trips so did not have high hopes.

Thank you all for your tips and good luck to everyone else trying the online system.
Out of curiosity did you have a pre-spend before this appointment? I have tried now on three different trips where I got an appointment but they had no bags to offer not even a picotin, mini Evelyn etc. So I'm curious now how much of a pre-spend might help to secure a bag for those lucky enough to score an appointment.

I got a QB each time !
2 Appointments : first one a B30 / Second one a K28 and a Lindy 26

I have like 800 euros pre send at paris other than the bags !

Pre spend dont matter at all ! Its more on clicking with the SA !

Totally agree with CherryBomb2305 that pre spend do not matter at all, from personal experience. My husband managed to get me an appointment and I got to choose from two B25's in February. In 5 years, I had purchased several twillys, scarves, and a belt under his passport so not a lot of spend. Also, our leather appointment was about 30 minutes before closing. We definitely clicked with the SA who was amazing and very kind to us.

This has been our experience all along.

Hi loves,

My best friend and I are planning to visit Paris in October and both of us are hoping to get a b/k. I’m very worried because getting the appointment for us will be extremely difficult. And I’m thinking, what if they only have one bag offered to us, who will get it..

Should we go in separately and work with different SAs? What’s the best way to increase luck for both of us? Any help would be greatly appreciated!❤️

Are you both trying the online appointment lottery? If so the Hermes Gods will decide who gets the appointment and the bag offer is only for that lucky person anyway. I am not sure of how to increase luck other than having a personal SA and confirmed appointment. Anyway I am sure your friendship will be more valued than any bag, you are best friends after all. May the odds be ever in your favour.

You both should be prepared for the disappointment and/jealousy that would ensue should one get a bag and the other come home empty handed. Hermes makes people do funny things.

If one of you are lucky enough to score an appt, and offered a B/K, it would have to be purchased by the person whose name the appt was under. But as a consolation, that same person would be able to also buy a non-quota bag at the same time for the other. Again, the biggest 2 hurdles are the appt and the offer. Good luck!

If you want to remain bestfriends, I think it's best to try for separate appointments. If
only one bag is offered and you both love the bag, feelings will be hurt for sure. Unless you can talk about who gets the bag, if there is only one offer---in advance, and stick to the plan too of course!
