Hi all, I want to try my luck at the lottery in a few weeks. I did receive a QB last year through the lottery. Any input on whether it’s helpful to take my QB to the appointment if I’m lucky enough to get one? I’m hesitant to take my QB on an international trip but also don’t want to be mistaken for a reseller in case I get an appointment. I have a U.S. profile and plan to wear jewelry, belt etc. if I get an appointment!

Also, any idea how QB stock generally is mid-late January? *fingers crossed*

Honestly I don't think you need to bring the QB back to the store. Also I go to see my SAs in Dec and sometimes in Jan. It's definitely comparatively lower, just like in Summer. Low stock never means no stock especially in FSH but the range of offers will be more limited, according to my SAs. They have sometimes been able to offer my wishlist bag in Jan, but that is because it arrived in store in December and I couldn't make it.

Hey- I can’t believe it after 2 months of applying everyday but I got an FSH appt tomorrow - curious if you think it’s because they have no stock? Im coming from London! I’ll take train early in morning to arrive right on time for my appt. I know it’s a risk but wondered if anyone got their wishlist in January.

I know some people have already posted about this, but I just wanted to add that my SA in the US just told me today that they got an update on their phones and they can now see if you buy a quota bag in Paris. She said they can't see all the purchases, just if there was a quota bag purchase. So I guess it's linked now.

I really think the appointment lottery is random and it is definitely not linked to stock levels. You now have a chance at least, even if it's Jan. Keep us posted!

I never travel with mine bc it’s a PITA to carry. No reason why you would be mistaken for a reseller just bc you don’t want to lug it around across borders

You shoul of course go by whatever your SA tells you. Some SAs seem to be a bit more flexible about this,
even within a single profile history and complete transparency

ETA: @itsalwaysxmas , I have received offers wearing my travel purse which happens to be a mini puzzle. I dont think it matters. I do like to wear premier designer RTW, but that’s my normal.

Thanks, as much as I want to take it I’m leaning towards not, we’re going to be traveling around different parts of Europe and on many trains so I’m nervous! There’s also no guarantee I’m getting an appointment in the first place, but fingers crossed!!

I personally don’t bring my birkins in Paris. I mainly use my black Kelly 28 because I use public transportation a lot.
Once I was on the bus with my birkin and an old lady told me to close my bag she was a little afraid for me.
I mean if I was only using the taxi or Uber or a car I would definitely have my birkins.

As I said before, I bring whatever I like to Paris because majority of our trips in the past we just drove in for the weekend or took the train. I hardly fly in and even then it's short EU flights. Even if nowadays I have to fly in long haul to Paris, I would wear and carry what I am comfortable with. I am not sure what the stores are looking for which marks one as a reseller. If you don't feel comfortable carrying your Hermes bag, I think that would show more.

We spoke for over an hour about families and her BF. And we already discussed my next quota bag. I think it’s all about the connection. I saw 2 people at tables nearby being turned down for “no stock” and one woman with her mother with scowls on their face and formerly purchased birkins in their hands who were rude and refused to smile when I said hello in the waiting area. They too were turned down for quota bags even though they already own some. It’s all in the luck of the connection with your SA. She said she wanted to find something special for me when I told her I loved green but also wanted a neutral.
