I'm pretty sure we had the same SA. The only bag she offered me was a bolide 25 in gray. When I asked what kind of gray... she simply said "it's gray".

Overall it just seemed like she was uninterested to help and unprofessional.
Wow, I would have loved a gray bolide 25. 2023 is the 100th year anniversary of the Bugatti 1923/ bolide. I’m sorry it was not to your liking

Anyone heard/encountered that if you didn't make any purchase in last two years, the account purchase history or account itself would be gone ? One of my friends went to Faubourg this year and couldn't find her account, was told by the SA and cashier b/c the last purchase she made was in 2019, her account is gone. She had to open a new account which lost all previous history. BTW, she never asked for bags in Paris.
I was just there in October (2022) at FSH where my last purchase was way back in 2016 or 17 but they still found my profile. Btw, that was my first & last purchase at FSH, it was before the lottery system when I purchased a non quota bag back then. Like I said, ffwd to 2022 & my profile/info was still in their system.

Hi all, I have just returned from 4 day Paris trip.
Few things ,
1) they couldn’t find my profile and I had to recreate a new one. I last purchased a quota bag in 2019 from FSH (pre pandemic).
2) I visited George V this time as that was where my hotel was, also my FSH SA had moved there so I did have an appointment. Despite a relationship I was still requested to apply for leather appointments . I know for a fact my SA can sell across departments and I have also seen how others who have existing SA’s can purchase varied items and are also offered quota bags with their SA . I think that’s so lucky but I’m not frustrated as previously mentioned I can see it from the SA’s perspective how difficult a position it would be if they tried to cut corners for every one of their clients. But this is just for some to be aware that just because some who have SA’s that they click with, are in contact with and have pre made appointments , are also not guaranteed a leather appointment/offer with their own SA. This is just the H game and I choose to be a player so I cannot get upset !
3) The store was very packed with minimal standing areas and absolutely nowhere to sit. When I was shopping and having a laugh with my SA, we were trying to locate a fitting room . One was already taken but another SA took out his client’s chosen RTW items and said directly to me: ‘I like YOU more than this client so you can have this room as my client just wants a bag.’

Not the most professional but I suspect borne out of fatigue and frustration.

During my 2 hours in store, particularly in the RTW section- I overheard a request for a leather appointment or bag related enquiry every 6-10 minutes, and this was just when I bothered to have a listen and in the small section I was in each time! Imagine the leather desk!!!

I can entirely understand how frustrating it must be for each SA , every single time this repetitive questioning occurs , all day , every day.

It’s like a child asking you- ‘are we there yet?’ In a never ending car ride.

4) in summary, 4 whole days - all rejections but walked away with a gorgeous new sweater, a new belt and buckle and a beautiful new scarf.

Disappointment of not getting a bag ? Mild.
Contentment with my new items ? Major!

I so agree that the expectations/purposes do not align between parties and I would love to see more posts with sensible and rational viewpoints/experiences when in Paris for Hermès . This ‘game’ (for lack of a better word) can make one quite obsessional (having been there myself) and encourage entitled, spiteful and greedy behaviour/thoughts.

I hope my post allowed some insight into my recent Paris experience and promotes some form of positive and rational perspective.

We can have empathy for them as it must be a frustrating job but at the end of the day, they do it to themselves. If the Hermes Paris stores really wanted people to stop badgering them for leather appointments they would stop allowing this tactic to be randomly successful. If it never worked for anyone, word would get out and people would eventually (mostly) stop asking. As it is, social media shows it has at least a 10% success rate and it’s definitely one of those things where “you don’t know until you at least try!” so folks are going to try.

I don't know if it's true, but I heard in Macau, someone's account got stolen and used for applying QB by insiders. Cuz the insider noticed that she is not a regular customer and thought she might not come back. :annoyed:

This is very true . It would be helpful if it was a more homogenous approach.
And I agree with having empathy to the SA’s because at the end of the day , I suspect working within a parent company that has no rules / rules in shadows can be slightly harder than those with clear cut rules!

Oh well, but when the magic happens in Paris, what an awesome feeling

Best wishes to all who are currently there now .

Hi! Has anyone ever been luck enough to score a mini kelly from Paris?
Welcome, I ran a rudimentary search ( upper right magnifying glass icon) and there are many :)
You can click on the link below

My FSH SA is not a leather specialist and has been able to offer me QBs (25K and 28K quadrille toile) during prearranged RTW appointments. However, this is not something I ask for or expect as my main thing is RTW.

Nata Epsom. I'm not a fan of Epsom so I opted for the other bag I was offered, a Kelly 25 in togo. This was a few months ago, and not through the lottery.

Please be aware…not through the lottery means she is a regular client. Mini Kellys are rare…also in Paris…and the first offer in Paris is very likely not a Mini Kelly.

Hi all, I want to try my luck at the lottery in a few weeks. I did receive a QB last year through the lottery. Any input on whether it’s helpful to take my QB to the appointment if I’m lucky enough to get one? I’m hesitant to take my QB on an international trip but also don’t want to be mistaken for a reseller in case I get an appointment. I have a U.S. profile and plan to wear jewelry, belt etc. if I get an appointment!

Also, any idea how QB stock generally is mid-late January? *fingers crossed*

I do not think it’s important.
