I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Ahhhhh I somehow managed to score an appointment! Received the text today and I’m so excited. Does anyone know what the handbag limits are? Can I get one quota and one non quota bag?

(Yes, I am also managing expectations too! This would be my first Hermes bag, but I’ve been told by all stores that inventory is not good)
OMG! Congrats! So excited for you!

Apparently now it’s either one QB or one non QB. I’ve seen on youtube some ladies who bought evelyne and then were not allowed to buy B/K due to the fact that they bought non quota bag  so just in case do not buy first non QB bag, try to ask for your dream first.

Ooooh congrats! How exciting! I’ve seen people on this thread buy multiple bags in one trip but I’m not sure how. Can’t wait to hear about your experience! Good luck! What bags are you looking for?

There are no real limits. Technically I keep hearing it's supposed to be 2 Birkins or Kellys per year, but I've seen that broken many many times. Then there are bags that aren't technically "quota" but are very desirable - Constance, mini Lindy, mini Evie, etc.

If you would like one Birkin/Kelly and one less coveted bag like a larger Bolide or a Roulis or any of the newer designs...IMO that's not too difficult to buy 2 bags at once.

My advice- living in Paris and seeing this play out a lot - would be to focus on the bag you want most. If you are offered a Birkin/Kelly/other very desirable or rare model, you have free rein to ask for another bag of any kind. If you accept a non B/K offer first even though you really want a B/K, ask straight out if the acceptance hurts or helps your chances of getting the bag you want most.

This is also dependent on store, but the SAs really work hard to find you something you will love - so be specific and clear.

Good luck!

Thank you so much! This was extremely helpful- I will take your advice and focus on the bag I want most. Fingers crossed!:heart:

Hi @jimmyshoogirl ! Thank you!! Honestly….I want a quota bag but I’m trying to be open minded on leathers and colors. Preferably a Birkin 25 or 30. Would also be open to a Kelly 28 or smaller (if I’m lucky!). And a Constance. That’s pretty much the order in preference. If they don’t have any, I think I will be okay. I just want to experience the experience

Thank you for the advice! I will definitely go in with my first choice. Appreciate the tip

Yes I completely understand wanting something, being open-minded but also wanting to enjoy the experience! It seems like you got some really great advice from those that’s their home store! I’m hoping the info helps you and you get all that you want. Heck, it seems the hardest part is getting the appointment which you were able to get :yahoo:I can’t wait to hear about your experience!

Back in May I was offered both and could buy both. Not sure if things changed now in December. Good luck!
