Hi, Ive been reading this thread for quite a while now and finally got an appointment for tomorrow!

I have been allotted to a slot right before closing at George V (which has the the smallest store/stock of the three?). So I am quite worried that they won't have much B/K/C...although am really excited at the same time.

Would love to hear your thoughts and/or relevant experience :smile:
They have stock. I was offered a special order in my first George V visit.
 
Hello, quick question about VAT refund. Does anyone by any chance know if the Hermes Paris stores keep record of our VAT tax free form numbers (Doc-ID) from recent purchases? Asking because I left Europe via AMS and dropped off my validated tax free forms at the Global Blue counter, but forgot to save my Doc-IDs... and now I can't track my refund without it. Please please let me know if anyone has ever experienced this. Thank you.

I would assume yes. If that info is in the receipt then they (the H store where you actually bought the item from) can reprint/look it up. Also, I got updates in my e-mail even if I don't log in & put in my ID #

If you download the Global Blue app all your purchases will show as it’s linked to you passport/ID

You should’ve received an email from GlobalBlue after your purchase with link to track your refund or validate credit card for refund. In the link to GlobalBlue website, top left corner under Purchases, will show all VAT claims, some individual, some combined. Refunds from Paris purchases are quick ~ 1-2 weeks. If from other European countries, it can take as long as 6-8 weeks

This last refund came in in just 3 days. I left Paris Sunday and the refund was in my account yesterday!

I’m here in Paris. Tried to register for an appointment on my phone. As soon as I hit validation I received a deny right away. This was the first time I tried so I had no idea if I did something wrong or they flagged my email for whatever reason. When I tried it on my hubby’s phone with his info they sent an email saying his request has been entered and will let him know the selection later. OMG! I hope they didn’t flag my account or anything. My first time ever. :sad:

If you read through this thread, you will see this is a semi normal occurrence. If you wait for a few minutes and try again, it might go through. If not, rinse and repeat until it does.

I have the same issue , so I change another email add and it work
