Hi there! If you have time, I was told the SA’s like persistence. You can stop in daily to see if you can get a leather appointment. Ask if there are any cancellations by visiting after 4pm. Also, I went into George V last week and they said that a leather appointment was not required for that Friday morning, as long as you were not looking for a B or K bag. So I recommend you don’t just rely on the litter appointment system.

I‘m not sure I agree entirely with the statement above based on experiences with my FSH SA. Of course everyone’s experience is different and this is simply based on mine. But I do agree that no harm in prefacing your request with the statement that you are not looking for a BKC. I also think going in the mid morning of a weekday, after the opening rush has died down, and no one else is around, will give you a better chance. Also, i believe that one does not need to buy anything else for a better chance at getting an appt. I got my first 25K with no prespend, and I had never stepped foot into H Paris at all. I’ve had the best experience with FSH, but many prefer Sevres. Finally, if you are certain you only want a mini E, there are many on the secondary market. (I shop both boutique and secondary market. Though I have rarely bought anything at more than retail value, you might get your worth out of a mini E by cost per wear). Good luck!

Note: re leather appt expectations, I find it best to keep expectations low. Even simply seeing the Paris boutiques can be very special as they have items than are not readily seen at home.

ETA: I read somewhere on this thread that when Paris SAs refuse to entertain any request for a leather appointment, it means there are no coveted bags at all. I don’t know if this is true or not; I tend to think there are always some held back for a regular or VIP client of the house, but I’m not sure.

I saw a few mini E's at the airport shops.

I just got back last night and never got an appointment, went and asked daily, also asked every SA I worked with in other departments. I saw person after person begging and doing the same all to be shot down. I went Sunday - Tuesday and stores were very slow but still no luck for any bag, they wouldn't even discuss with me.

I got one at CDG! I was shopping for a poche de vide and Orans and casually asked if they had any bags, and she brought out a black mini Evelyn.

Am currently in Paris and FSH is lovely and quiet, I am not sure why. Stores were closed on Friday for Armistice Day.

On my first day in Paris I managed to get an impromptu leather appointment at FSH midweek and scored a 24/24 35.

After read this post for few months and and reallized that it's nearly impossible to get appointment in few days (I had only one day chance), so I decided to visit shop in other town. I finally got offer B25 sellier black in gold hardware . It's not easy but compare to my visit at FSH after I got a bag, it's impossible for me. I asked for trying size, SA said only for who have leather appointment.
Thank you everyone who shared your experience so I can made correct decision.
I wish anyone who look for your dream bag lucky with your journey, and maybe just try the other towns

Hi may I know which other town did you go to score the B25 sellier? Do you need to spend a lot?

I think if you are already in Paris and really want a bag from H, you can just drop by and try asking..assume that they will say no..but what if an SA says yes? I usually get a bag offer when I don't expect it. It seems to me that SAs smell desperation. So, just be cool about it, be polite, and buy what you really like. Then ask about it. A lot of people will be told no..but there are a few that are lucky.....especially if you are not looking for a QB.

Great lesson for everyone wanting to shop at the FSH! Keep calm (despite all those wonderful offers), stay focused, and be patient as you will be rewarded with your dream bag! As for me, I would have gone half mad halfway through the offers!

It's been developed with a bit of practice. I still remember the adrenaline high of being offered my first Birkin 16 years ago, I actually felt faint. Now I save my SAs the trouble of running up and down the 2 floors. They just read everything out from their Hphone and we look at what might be of interest. I leave everything else because they might be dream bags/ HG for other clients.
