Congrats @Cams Hope you and your DH are enjoying Paris! People have been reporting how hard it is to get any B or K or even an appt these days! :flowers: I cannot wait to see how you style your new things on OOTD

I stopped sharing the specifics of my quota bag purchases this year because people are acting more aggressive when it comes to these elusive handbags. I am posting this info here so that fellow TPFers know that despite the inventory shortages and difficulties in securing an online leather appointment, it is still remotely possible, although highly improbable, to be offered a bag without a leather appointment.

I traveled with a friend on this trip instead of DH. My friend was told by all three boutiques that they could not offer any handbags, even non-quota bags, without a leather appointment.

Its sad to hear people are getting aggressive especially since you were just sharing information. However I do agree with you, about the demeanor lately. I just returned from Paris and witnessed the most entitled behavior ever!

#true! Just returned from Paris and witnessed first hand at Hermès and VanCleef. Sad but true.

Thank you so much I love Paris this is actually my 6th time. Except in the young days I was a big fan of Lou’s Vuitton lol. I did feel lucky because I saw how hard it is to get any bag these days. Felt really special. The sales man and women both complimented me on hoe I was dressed I did put allot of Hermes hoping for B and K lol. But Picotin is gorgeous I am in love .

Hello everyone, hope you are all keeping well. Stock is not great at the moment for literally everything, but hopefully it will recover a bit by the end of this month in time for the holiday.
I got offered a really special bag in Paris a while back, so thought I would share it here with everyone! It’s a black Kelly and my first Hermes bag in box leather!
Anyone have experience with box leather could offer a word of advice on how to maintain the leather? I hear it’s quite delicate and prone to scratches.

I’m in Paris now and haven’t had any luck getting an appointment. I did get my ten motif necklace from van cleef though and that’s what I really wanted! It was apparently the last one and stock is low. However, Paris is not very busy right now with tourists so it must be issues with their supply chains!

Thanks for telling me this. For a second I was wondering if I am presented with the opportunity to return to Paris that I’d try again. I don’t want to build up my expectations in hopes of my dream bag.
