I also wanted to share my H experience in Paris. We haven’t been back since 2019. My sister, friend, husband and I applied for a leather appointment everyday and received the rejection email at 9pm every night. My sister and I walked in FSH on our 3rd day to look at scarves and to create a profile since we haven’t had a purchase since 2019. We met a really nice SA at the scarf dept. She said she wasn’t allowed to move departments and will need to hand us off to her colleague when we asked about belts and shoes. However when we went up to the 2nd floor she continued to assist us. We also bought mens Izmir sandals and asked for the Soleil sushi plate, Calvi wallet which were out of stock but was available at George V. She recommended we look for her friend there. She kept asking what else we wanted so we casually mentioned that we were also interested in Birkin/Kelly or mini bags. She asked which kinds- mini E and mini Lindy in classic colors. They don’t have BK due to Fashion week. She had us wait on the second floor. After 20 mins she came back with two boxes!! We got a TPM Evelyne in Gris Meyer and Mini Lindy in Cassis verso Royal Bleu in swift leather!! She said they will have more stock in B and K in Jan/Feb and to text her two weeks before we come back so she can order it for us. The next day we decided to visit her again and bought more scarves. We also went to George V and got two calvi and Pegase charm. We continued to apply for an official leather appt everyday at 1030am. The day before we left I received a leather appt at George V but at 6pm. The next day I received an updated text it was moved to 4pm. Went to the store. Waited for 30 mins. Met w an SA at the SLG section. She asked what I wanted and I told her she probably doesn’t have it but I wanted to give her my wishlist for B30 or Kelly 28. She came back with a big box but it had a 24/24 29 in Beton. I was disappointed. I tried it on and it was too heavy and big for me. I asked her what else she had - Saut, Verou, Roullis-lime green and Geta- yellow. I asked for TPM Evelyne and ML again but they were out since it was already 5pm. I did see two couples trying a black TPM and Gris Meyer TPM and nata Geta before my appointment. They probably bought it. Finally,she said she had a Picotin 18 in Caban in PHW. I decided to get that. Was very happy with our H experience since we didn’t wait 3 hours to get in the store unlike Goyard and Chanel. At the CDG airport, we arrived at the H store as soon as it opened at 7am. Was able to get another calvi and the Soleil sushi plate! I asked if they had any mini bags for us. Initially was told no but we continue to browse and I asked again. The SA said picotin 18 in Noir. Since the color was close to Caban, I passed and my sister decided to buy it instead. Sharing with you our H haul and our new babies. Anything is possible in Paris. Good luck to everyone ☘️❤️

I think the SA means to put it under reservation in advance of their visit. FSH does this.

I don’t think it would be a problem if you go at the time they open. Sevres also has a cafe in store that you can enjoy while you wait if your wait is significant. The design of the store really made the wait for me ok. The atmosphere is so light! And whoever gets assigned to you can help you in all departments!

Hi, I haven’t experienced being there at opening but the 2 times I went last month (not during Fashion week), it was a 30/40 min wait to be assigned an SA at Sèvres

I just returned from a three day trip to Paris. I applied all three days “no preference” and received a rejection each night between 8:45 and 9:15. On the first day after receiving a rejection, I went to FSH. I have no Paris history so I thought a purchase might help get an appointment and I could get an FSH souvenir. I did not find it to be as busy as I had heard on here (it must depend on the day— I went Thursday and Friday. It was definitely a bit more busy Friday but not too crazy. LV was more busy in my opinion. Mornings seemed quieter at FSH.). SAs helped me very quickly in the scarf, shoe, and fine jewelry departments. Other SAs throughout the store checked in on me periodically as I browsed and they were generally cheerful and nice. I purchased a scarf from an amazing SA who spent half an hour with me trying on a dozen scarves and tying them for me in all different ways. She said she was not able to help me in other departments—just scarves and fashion jewelry. After I purchased the scarf, I asked shyly about an appointment. She was apologetic and said it’s so difficult and lottery was the way to go. I didn’t find anything else special that I loved and didn’t want to spend more outside of my home store.

I didn’t ever ask about cancellations or try to get a walk in at the other two stores, but saw some folks asking desperately at FSH. I saw one guy explaining he had spent several tens of thousands in “just one visit” and wanted an appointment. The SA said “I believe you” but said he couldn’t do anything. Not as many people asking as I would have thought though. There was no line in front if the check in person. I went back on my second day and tried on more jewelry and again didn’t find anything I loved. I made purchases elsewhere and enjoyed Paris.

On both days, I saw a lot of Picotins offered on the second floor. Some clients did not seem happy about the lack of B or K. I’m sure some B and Ks were being offered in private spaces, but I didn’t see anyone being taken away from their table. Overall it was a fun experience in Paris, but not everyone lucks out on bags or appointments!
