I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

thank you sooo much for the info . love to hear this... I will try to see if I can score anything... cuz I don't have much time in Paris, only 2 nts but one day is Sunday... after reading here I would say just take it or leave it kind of things

I went into FSH around 12pm and bought a wallet and some leather charms. I had tried for 7-8 days to get an appointment with no luck. So I asked the SA who helped me with the wallet if I can get a leather appointment and she said, why don't you come back in 1-2 hours? I had a spa appointment so I left and came back around 3pm. It was pouring rain and I was completely drenched and wearing a Tumi backpack. I couldn't find the SA who told me to come back. So I went up to the host (basically whoever has the iPad in charge of appointments) and I showed them the 10+ rejections I had from trying to get an appointment. I said I didn't want a BKC I wanted a Mini Evelyn and Mini Lindy. The guy looked at my profile (I bought a Birkin in 2015 from FSH) and said he would give me an appointment closer to 5pm. I agreed and thanked him then turned to leave expecting to come back. Then 30 seconds later he calls out after me and said he had an appointment right then at 3:15pm. The SA I worked with was able to give me BOTH the Evelyn and the Lindy and I bought both. But honestly while I tried to get appointments it wasn't a live or die situation, just go in and shop as you would shop at any other store and enjoy Paris!
Thank you very much for sharing, am a bit confused here, was this the experience you shared last Dec from 2021 or is this a new experience?

If it happened recently that’s very lucky because not only both trips you got walk-in appointment but also you bought a mini lindy each time, a evelyne last Dec and a mini Evelyne this Sep? You must be very charming !

My frd who visited FSH a couple of times last week said it was so packed that she didn’t even bother to ask for possibility of cancellation, after she overheard the usual ‘ no’ many times around the reception. To get a walk-in slot in FSH last month was super tough.

Difficult to book in advance, when I dont know if I will Get a leather appointment through the lottery system
Given the success rates I would plan a Paris trip without any H appointment.

Saw someone being unable to even register for an appointment twice this week (IG, including screenshots) because “the number of registrations was already too high for the following day and to try for another day”.

She tried right after the system opened at 10:30 and tried submitting at 10:31… her husband who used auto fill for his details at least succeeded in registering.

Anyone else had difficulties with the registration? I’m wondering if there are actually much more registration attempts (surely including bots) now or if H limits registration numbers now as they realise it doesn’t make sense to let 10K+ people register for 80 or so slots per day…

I’ll be in Paris in a few weeks and will give it a try. Won’t lose anything apart from 30 seconds.

We’ve had several people in this thread get that response and it isn’t true to its words. Often just waiting five or so minutes and trying again seems to get the registration in just fine. Probably some sort of momentary server overload.

Exactly right. I've gotten this notification a few times, waited a bit, tried again it it went through no problem. Sometimes it does pop up a second time, but rinse and repeat until it goes through.

That’s super helpful, thank you both! :flowers:

Reporting back. Had an appointment at George V at 2:10pm. They moved it to 11:20am. Offered me a herbag. I refused. End of story. Was so so sad to have wasted a day that I could have spent with my parents. It was probably the most expensive one day trip - plane tickets were north of 1,000€ from Verona. Oh well. Live and learn
just wanna say THANKS for reporting back. feel soooooo sorry for what happened to you, especially on a special day / trip for an appointment. But your sharing is definitely helping many of us for not feeling alone when facing the same situation, highly appreciated!

Do you think it’s mad trying for a leather appt and hoping to score a bag during RTW fashion week at the end of Sept? Honestly have no expectations but wanted to hear any thoughts!

Ill be in Paris within next week and I vaguely remember someone posting here that due to fashion week inventory goes super low since bags are being held for celebs + on hold for shows?
