I've been reading like many pages and all i want to buy is the mini lindy etoupe + belt + shoes, can I just do the walk-in to Pair FSH? For the leather appointment that 90% people talk about from here, it is more likely for buying the Birkin/Kelly or the custom made bag, right? I'm just a starter.. so far I only have 1 herbag (when travelled to singapore) and 1 epsom compact wallet (US online) w/o a real profile .. Please help.
If you want a mini Lindy you'll need an appointment. For the belt and shoes, yoi can just walk-in and ask for an available SA to help you with the purchase. Whether or not they have what you like in stock is another issue.

Omg - the craziest thing happened today at FSH. I showed up to my leather appointment and got assigned to a lovely SA. I told her about my wishes (Kelly 25 in neutral colors) and she went to go check. It seemed like she really really wanted to give me a bag, but she came back empty handed and said she had nothing that fit my wishes. She then offered me to do a Special Order. I got to choose the leather, colors, hardware … and will receive my bag in 9-12 months. Have you ever experienced something like that at FSH? My purchase history over there is only a perfume … can’t believe it. Let me know what you think!
That's fantastic! Back in 2008 on my honeymoon (and first time ever at FSH) I was able to do the same. It was shipped to me in the USA. I thought that with the new system this was no longer possible but it's encouraging to see that it is.

Reporting back. Had an appointment at George V at 2:10pm. They moved it to 11:20am. Offered me a herbag. I refused. End of story. Was so so sad to have wasted a day that I could have spent with my parents. It was probably the most expensive one day trip - plane tickets were north of 1,000€ from Verona. Oh well. Live and learn
Sorry to hear that. I was just in Paris (I know Paris is the place that you can get a B/K/C without a pre-spend but the demand nowadays is just too much and it seems that it has become highly competetive too) recently too.....and truth be told, if you have a good relationship with your H store/SA in your place/country, stick with it. I personally would rather buy things from my amazing local SA and have her get the commission. Sometimes, getting what I like might mean waiting a little bit---but at least I know she is working on it and that we have a good and respectful business relationship. No crazy games. No useless spending..only to find out in the end that there will be 0 offers. Now, if I go into an H store overseas (or somewhere I am just visiting) because I am already in that area, and I see items that I truly like..and that are readily available..or if the SA offers me something I like without a hefty pre-spend, then I will buy it. But to purposely go to an H store (that is not my usual store) with super high hopes that I will be offered a B/K or whatever I specifically want and putting in a lot of time, money in travel, hotels, and pre-spend with an SA I just met and have no good rapport with..never..because that would ruin my trip if I didn't get what I was wishing for! But that is just me.
Hope you are able to spend more time with your parents and that you'll get the bag that you really like.

Agree 100%
paris is the only place you can get an opportunity to purchase a BKC without any prespend.
But, an appt does not guarantee a BKC. I would not make special plans around the hope of getting any bag.
i do think FSH has an excellent selection of RTW. A lot better than my home store which is probably the best, other than BH, in the US.

Yes that's basically my first appointment with my current SA. The bags offered then were not suitable for me (B35s) and I politely declined them all and was surprised when I was given an SO slot and that's how I met my SA.

I wish I had read that sooner. Someone also had a bad experience with this SA. Her name was Julia. Didn’t even say hi, didn’t introduce herself and I had to ask. I really regret going. My ticket was expensive but what makes me even sadder is the time that I lost with my parents
No disrespect and I do understand your disappointment.
However getting an appointment is no guarantee of being offered a quota bag or indeed any sought after bag.
You entered the lottery knowing it would entail a special last minute trip and of course losing a precious day with your parents.
Its a gamble, you took that gamble it didn't pay off.
No point in crying over spilt milk.
Its just a bag enjoy your family time and move on.

hello! Can I please ask for those who have experience of shopping at FSH and Sevres, do SA’s give out their email or phone numbers easily ? And is it something that’s worth asking them for or something they offer only if they want to ? Thank you !

I think I speak for (almost) all of us when I say we deeply, truly empathize with your situation. Many of us would've made the same choice you did - the gamble would've been well worth it given the potential gains, even if the odds are long. Please don't feel discouraged, and go enjoy your remaining time with family!

I did. It was also my 30th birthday on Friday. I mentioned I wanted to buy a gift for myself. I don’t think they cared. The whole appointment took 10 minutes and she didn’t introduce herself, she was really rushing. I guess that’s why my appointment was moved up so much
Happy belated birthday to you and thank you for reporting back. Very sorry to hear your experience.

A lot of members here don’t bother to report back a not very successful trip / not getting an appointment during their holiday in Paris. Your experience really help others to set up an realistic expectation for appointments. I wish more ppl like you had the courage to report back their trips of attending appointments without being offered a quota bag.

I hesitated to be the only one here taking it with a pinch of salt by saying that it seems rare to be offered a quota bag recently given how few success stories posting here after reading your first post, that would make you even more nervous. However if we were in your boat I believe a lot of us probably would fly in too given that how hard to get an appointment nowadays and many of us don’t live in Europe. But that’s probably just us who don’t live in Europe and budget the day trip in the total travel expenses.

Of course you were disappointed after getting nothing in the end after such an effort, anyone else will be the same.

Many travelling to Paris on their B-days, special celebrations etc, the sales must be pretty immuned to our ‘ special occasions’. I once had an appointment on my exact B-day and didn’t get any bag ;). Some times hermes magic happens, sometimes it doesn’t. It depends on a lot of factors to be offered a quota bag after all.

I am sorry to hear you did not get the bag you were hoping for and lost precious time with family. Life teaches us valuable lessons and in this case my takeaway would be nothing should supersede spending quality time with family. :flowers:

My husband is in Paris a few times a year and this year he was able to score an appointment once out of his two trips. However the SA shared there were no B/K/C and his appointment lasted only two minutes. I hope this sharing makes you feel better and gives you a good picture that many of us are in the same boat.

I went into FSH around 12pm and bought a wallet and some leather charms. I had tried for 7-8 days to get an appointment with no luck. So I asked the SA who helped me with the wallet if I can get a leather appointment and she said, why don't you come back in 1-2 hours? I had a spa appointment so I left and came back around 3pm. It was pouring rain and I was completely drenched and wearing a Tumi backpack. I couldn't find the SA who told me to come back. So I went up to the host (basically whoever has the iPad in charge of appointments) and I showed them the 10+ rejections I had from trying to get an appointment. I said I didn't want a BKC I wanted a Mini Evelyn and Mini Lindy. The guy looked at my profile (I bought a Birkin in 2015 from FSH) and said he would give me an appointment closer to 5pm. I agreed and thanked him then turned to leave expecting to come back. Then 30 seconds later he calls out after me and said he had an appointment right then at 3:15pm. The SA I worked with was able to give me BOTH the Evelyn and the Lindy and I bought both. But honestly while I tried to get appointments it wasn't a live or die situation, just go in and shop as you would shop at any other store and enjoy Paris!

My friend was able to book an appointment with her hotel for Friday, her appointment was in the morning and she went and changed it to later in the day as she will be busy with work. I’m shocked that she was able to change it today even though the appointment is on Friday.

Can I be cheeky and ask what hotel she’s staying at as I thought most places don’t do it anymore
