Ladies, I need help!!! I just got an appointment at George V.

I am currently on my birthday trip with my parents in Italy (rural place) who I only see twice a year since they live in a different country.

I’ll go to Paris if I have a chance of getting a B or K. But I’m so bummed I got George V since no luck has been reported there.

Should I go? I’ll need to leave to the airport in an hour.
You are half way to the bag. Yes, go!
Good luck.

Third rejection today, went to george v to check the stock no boots in size 40 or 39.5. two calvi in stock only, both were in croc way above my needs . I saw someone get offered a kelly to go and requested this but the sa told me that i need an appointment for it, as it has a strap so its a kelly not a wallet. I told him that the other stores offer them without appointment, he laughed and said well for me its with an appointment so even if i have one i wont offer it to you .

That SA is ridiculous, it’s a wallet not a bag. Annoying attitude!

Thank you all for a quick reply!!!

I do have some purchase history (a pricy mini Kelly strap) and I’m thinking of taking my mini Kelly. Actually got my mini Kelly in celeste from FSH without an appointment in march but it was under my husbands name since he also had purchase history.

Do you think I should go with my mini K or k28 to the appointment? I have these bags on a trip with me! Or better no H bags to the appointment?
I got my B from George V in June! Go go go! I find them nicer and less busy than FSH

Yay! Thank you so much!!! Appreciate this community already.

At the airport in Verona now flying to Paris. Took the mini K and attached to it the strap that’s my only purchase history in Paris! So crazy - I got an appointment through the lottery in the first attempt. I was like oh let me try to submit myself - I never thought I’d get it! Back in march I tried 3 people for 10 consecutive days and nothing. Still got my mini K though so no complaints there

If an SA told me this nonsense I would have told them “tell corporate it should be named Kelly BAG To Go” then!
LOL

I've been reading like many pages and all i want to buy is the mini lindy etoupe + belt + shoes, can I just do the walk-in to Pair FSH? For the leather appointment that 90% people talk about from here, it is more likely for buying the Birkin/Kelly or the custom made bag, right? I'm just a starter.. so far I only have 1 herbag (when travelled to singapore) and 1 epsom compact wallet (US online) w/o a real profile .. Please help.

the mini lindy you want qualifies as a bag so yes you would need an appointment. the appointment is not only for Birkin, Kelly, or Constance. it's for all bags, even bags that look like wallets with a strap (e.g. Kelly To Go, etc).

for the belt and shoes, you can just walk in.

Reporting back. Had an appointment at George V at 2:10pm. They moved it to 11:20am. Offered me a herbag. I refused. End of story. Was so so sad to have wasted a day that I could have spent with my parents. It was probably the most expensive one day trip - plane tickets were north of 1,000€ from Verona. Oh well. Live and learn
Did you tell him/her about your special trip from Verona just for the appointment? Not that it has to change everything, but at least, if SA has a heart, he/she would feel bad. I hope....

I did. It was also my 30th birthday on Friday. I mentioned I wanted to buy a gift for myself. I don’t think they cared. The whole appointment took 10 minutes and she didn’t introduce herself, she was really rushing. I guess that’s why my appointment was moved up so much

Hi everyone! I am planning to travel to Europe in May 2023 and planning to stop by Paris and try to (hopefully) get offered a B/K/C, fingers crossed!
Does anyone know whether May is a good time to get offered bags? Cause the last time I went to Paris was in end of Aug - early Sept, and got an appointment in George V, but the SA said there are no B/K/C/L available in any colour or leather

Also, can anyone recommend me which other countries in Europe has a good stock and more likely to offer these bags?

Got an appointment at George V on the 1st of Sept, no luck either. My SA said there are no Birkin, Kelly, Constance and even Lindy available. I even asked for a non-quota bag in neutral color, but she only showed me pinks and greens. But I did saw someone (wearing head to toe chanel) being escorted upstairs by a male SA where they usually get offered quota bags. I did hear that male SAs tend to be nicer and more honest about stocks. Tried getting an appointment in FSH for the next 4 days but got rejected as well.
Wishing you the best of luck! Hopefully you can get your hands on the bag you want! :)

I wish I had read that sooner. Someone also had a bad experience with this SA. Her name was Julia. Didn’t even say hi, didn’t introduce herself and I had to ask. I really regret going. My ticket was expensive but what makes me even sadder is the time that I lost with my parents
