Hi there! I was obsessively checking this forum prior to my Paris trip and thought I would share my recent shopping experience. I was there for 5 days (Thurs - Mon) with 5 other gfs. Since store is closed on Sunday and we left early Mon morning, we really only had Thurs - Sat to shop. We each tried our chances of requesting a leather appointment and each of us received rejection emails every evening. Sad! Nevertheless, I was determined to shop there and so we hit up all three shops without leather appointments. The first day we arrived, we went straight to the FSH store since it was close to our hotel. As expected, it was busy in almost all departments. The most frustrating part is having to find a new SA for each department you wanted to shop in. I lucked out and in the SLG department was able to secure a Rodeo Pegasus. Was told they only had one in stock. Was lucky that the colors matched my GP 30 exactly. :) No stock for wallets or Oran sandals. Did end up purchasing a watch and the inventory for that seemed good. While at check out, we inquired about a leather appointment and of course were told the only way to secure an appointment was on their website. So we left with some goodies and then proceeded to visit the George V store the next day. Waited in line for about 20 mins before getting into store. There were no lines to get in the FSH store. The George V store was even more crowded but maybe because that was a smaller store. Their inventory was even worse than FSH though I did manage to secure a Clic wallet that matched the color of my K28 exactly. Then the following day we visited the Sevres store and had the best experience! Again no leather appointment but after spending some time with the SLG SA, he presented us with basically any bag we wanted other than the B, K, or C. We spent over two hours with him and had a great time. I think that's why he ended up showing us the bags. I was presented with a Lindy 26 Evercolor in Blanc and my gf purchased the Verrou Chaine Mini Bag. This was in addition to a bunch other SLGs including a Kelly compact wallet! While we didn't walk out with a quota bag, we had a great time shopping and able to purchase other items that fell in love with. Perhaps next time we will have better luck!

Sorry for the long post :)

Reminds me of the one time I was at a store to pick up a new item and someone picked up my current bag while I was away for a second and I could not hear but I assumed they were asking if they could buy it.

Wow, manners. I don’t understand why it is so hard to fathom that some customers have a longer or better history and get offered things for which others, like me, are not yet eligible.

If I were a top client of the house for many many years, naturally the SAs and SMs would be authorized to offer coveted items that are not available to new clients.

And, re the customer indignation of an SA ‘lying’ that something is not available, I ascribe that to 1. The disorganization of the store (which I have witnessed firsthand); and, 2. The corporate policy, neither of which can be the fault of the SA. I do not think a client would prefer an honest statement that they are not, or could never be, VIP enough to obtain x.

(Excuse my grammar; it has gotten worse as I grow older).

Query to anyone here: are there better months to go to FSH for RTW only? In other words, the months two times a year where the collections are most plentiful? at this point, I find it ludicrous that my local SA/ SM are doing a world search for a current collection RTW item. Or, is RTW charge send available internationally from FSH?

You can do RTW charge send from FSH; in my experience you need a house account, but that might have changed. I would ask your SA in Paris which months are best - they will be delighted to have a RTW-focused customer (and if you don't have an SA yet, it will be easy to find one you love). Also, good excuse to go to Paris, and you'll do better on taxes than if you have things shipped <3

Thank you! After I read your reply, I emailed her to ask about charge send of a gris ardoise denim dress that was unavailable here (plus the reference code and size) and a recommendation of when RTW is most plentiful there. I appreciate your advice

Hi everyone! I’m new to the online appointment system. I noticed on the site it states I will get a response btwn 8:00pm and 8:30pm. So yesterday I checked checking my emails every 5 minutes so I wouldn’t miss it, and can plan accordingly should I be lucky enough to score an appointment. In the end I didn’t get the email until a littler after midnight. Is this common?

Yes, successful confirmations generally come earliest with the rejections sometimes not arriving until the early AM hours. Good luck.

Most of my denials came late at night after that time. Now my appointment success came at 9:05pm.

I'm also very interested in the question of which months have the most plentiful RTW. Do let me know what response you get!

Wow, I finally got an appointment for Saturday at 3:30pm.
I registered so many times for months and finally got it. I am so glad.
Location: FSH.
Will post more after.

Now, I am wondering what I will wear.... all black dress with Constance Belt in navy and gold hardware...... or more casual Tshirt with jeans... it is too warm this week to really dress up haha.

i actually don’t know. My SA responded with her vacation dates and said I should just add her to WhatsApp and we’d start there. She said they started getting next season, but I should come to Paris any time and she would find stuff for me. When I went in February, the day of my bag appt, she had no RTW in my size and no time. she said come back in the am, and she had a small rack waiting. I think someone more experienced said that FSH can pull from their warehouse.

@Ruedubac , congrats! I would wear whatever is comfy! Fingers crossed for you!

Congrats!! I might see you then :) I'm accompanying a friend to her appt at 12. I vote for the all black dress cus I think dresses are less hot than jeans. It's been sooo warm in Paris that I can't imagine wearing jeans
