I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I read a few pages back that the spend history is wiped after two years. With the pandemic, my Paris trip in 2020 had to be cancelled, so my last spends in FSH and George V were in 2018. I shop fairly regularly here in the US, but am traveling to Paris in June and was hoping that would see some previous activity. Can someone enlighten me? TIA

I believe it is in the system longer. I bought a quota bag 4 years ago and they mentioned it when I was in an appointment. I told them I already have a grey birkin and she confirmed that and said 'oh yes, you also bought it from this store'. :-)

Hi ladies, I will be in Paris for 2 days next week and 1 day happens to be a Sunday. I’m so scared of not being able to score an appointment since it’s not like I can stand in line 2 hours before they open to try to get one anymore. Anyone has any tips for this desperate mama on how to secure an appointment or a contact information of an SA that can help?

Unfortunately there is no magic answer. Everyone here is hoping to score an appointment and hopefully a bag…
Maybe read the last 25/50 pages of this thread to get an idea

My friend has been in Paris for over a month, has applied for appointments every day with her passport and her husband's passport, has walked in asking for cancellations, and she STILL hasn't had any luck getting an appointment. It's such an awful experience, I feel so bad for her.

Same experience as her. Although, Ive been here since March and Ive tried like 4 times a week and havent gotten any appointment. I will leave next week, hopefully I can get one!

Hi,
I was at George V today looking for SLG and overheard 3 groups with appointments and they all got offered Evelyne and non quota bags....1 group even mentioned that they bought over 40k worth of fine jewelry but still no quota bags....seemed like stock is low there.....as I can't imagine 40k euros with no quota bags....in my home country even 12k ish + good SA can get a quota bag...

p.s. I was stalking a special edition Bearn wallet LOL, so, I do visit the store often now as my nephew is visiting and he wishes to get one in Asia (where he lives) but none could be found.

Stock is very low even in FSH in all categories, I don’t understand why this is. I often text my SA about nail polishes, swimwear or SLG. Have to order and can takes sometimes months to arrive:hrmm:

I can only say I really relate to that.
getting an appointment is so uneasy already, and for those with spending history and making an effort to visit, it is really disappointing. (And seeing resellers keep having quota bags…)

Likely not true anymore, unless you are a long established client, and if that’s the case, you probably aren’t spending 40k euros in Paris to chase a bag.

hee hee Interestingly, they were talking among themselves in a language I understand..and the lady/wife told the guy that 'she likes those jewelry and it is cheaper than their home country but if she knew 40k is not enough to get quota bag, she would have bought those in her home country'...so, I was not sure if the 40k she mentioned means euro or maybe a different currency.
I am not sure if my hearing is just really good or they were talking quite loudly thinking no one else understand them as beside them was me and a French speaking couple.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it now again, the biggest advantage to trying Paris as a short term visitor is that it’s the one place in the world where you have a relatively decent chance of getting a quota bag with little to no prespend/relationship (assuming you get a lottery granted appointment). If you are a short term visitor and dropping 10k or more in hopes of getting a bag, you’re doing it wrong. Spend that money on your relationship at home. JMHO.
