We are going to Paris next week so it gives me a little bit of hope, I tried the lottery appointed on Nov 21 with no luck, would be curious to see if luck is on my side this time. Regardless trip to Paris itself is the best gift

I read everywhere that the person who has the appointment has to pay for things he/she buys. So if the appointment is in my name and my husband is with me, he cannot pay ? I don't understand what's the matter who is paying as long as it is paid. Sorry if this is obvious.

Hi guys I’ve been following this form for a while now,with hopes to get some tips.
I currently live in london and have a great relationship with my Hermes SA.
Last year I made my wishlist in July and managed to have it fulfilled in October. ( not a long wait) Kelly 25.

Since then I started to like the Picotin and managed to get one in December and another in January.
I also made another wishlist in January for a birkin 30. I have since expressed my interest in another bag potentially Picotin again in gold, and have asked my SA almost weekly but nothing. I hate to keep bothering her and feel like a complete stalker.
So the past 2 weeks I’ve been applying everyday for an appointment in Paris with hopes to jump on the euro star, but I’m getting declined every single day. It’s really disheartening to receive the rejection email every evening. Any tips on what I should do ? Also how many times did you guys try before you were granted with an appointment.
Should I continue to try or be patient.

Am I being greedy and should enjoy the bags I have for now? Let me know your thoughts.

There’s nothing in your power to do other than to keep trying and keep waiting. I’d stop hounding your London SA though for a while. Picotins are hot items and getting one client three of them in as many months probably isn’t a big priority of hers and may even smell of being a reseller. Otherwise, keep trying for Paris. It’s a pure lottery so some people get lucky on attempt one, and others are upwards of 100 tries. Good luck!

My advice is that you need to relax and enjoy what you have and develop some patience. Your SA has sourced more for you than some VIPs. Stop stalking her and check in every now and again. Just from your post you’re coming off as desperate so I can only imagine your texts and emails to her. Take a few deep breaths and appreciate what you have.

I personally think it is easier to get your desired bag from your local SA esp as you are relatively new to the brand. Given what you have shared, (which is fabulous for any regular client) I’m sure she remembers what you want without a weekly call.

ETA: I just reread your post, and she already got you two picotins in two months! Agree with @cravin

Hee hee, I am glad you mentioned 'others are upwards of 100 tries'.
As My hubby and I have a total of nearly 200 tries by now (2 passports, nearly 100 tries each). I used to go to the store in Paris weekly (I live here) but in fear of looking like a stalker, I just stopped going there on purpose....just pop in every 3 weeks if I am walking by that area instead of making a point to go there. Which is really hard as I literally live a few blocks away from the store LOL.
Just registered online with both phones a few minutes ago. Wish us luck

Those recent purchases of 3 bags are not my full purchase history.
I have been shopping with the brand for 4/5 years. A few other bags such as 2 Her bags 2 Evelyne many accessories. Home goods and many footwear. I’ve around 20 pairs of oran. I also buy items for my partner.

I also do not text or email asking for a bag. I only ask in person if there is any stock.

But I agree it will be in my best interest to stop asking at all and appreciate what I have for now.
It’s nice to get others opinions and feed back so I welcome it all! ❤

I’m not saying this is what has happened, but you may be getting flagged as a reseller. Are you wearing your purchases on a rotating basis into the store when you visit? If not, I would start immediately because as others have said, your SA has sourced a ton of bags for you in a very short period of time. While certain bags aren’t QB, the store may have some hesitancy to get you more if they suspect something is up.

In any event, agree with other posters that you should love what you have for now and stop asking for a couple of months.

Yes I wear them regularly. I’ve known my SA from 7 years back she was working with another brand where she was my SA there, then moved to Hermes.
She definitely knows I’m not a reseller x

Unfortunately with social media and watching bloggers and seeing how many bags they acquire I didn’t realise I had been so lucky.
For example Tamara…If you watch her YouTube Chanel I feel like she has a new Hermes bag every 2 months.

Smoke and mirrors with these influencers. Some have relationships that allow them easier access in exchange for features. Others are buying from third parties. Still others are lying. I’d venture to say many influencers are all three.

I asked my SA to look up my purchase history in the US. She said it’s NOT TRUE that there is a global link on purchase history

I have three files with my purchase history in France, being in Paris they don't see my purchase history in Cannes , the same for other parts of France.

@amlondon Lots of good advice has given. I have to say my London SA has really not been receiving much stock lately and it’s probably the same for Paris, (relatively to pre- Covid times) which is why I don’t think it’s a good time for me to even make an appointment to visit my SAs in France right now, (apart from the much more important factor of the high number of cases and a war going on right now). By all means, do continue to try getting an online appointment for Paris and in the meantime just give your London SA some space. I am sure she is working on it and they definitely have your wish on record. I think it would just require more time between bags in the present situation. Hopefully it will all get back to normal very soon and we can report more fruitful visits to FSH and the other stores in Paris.
