I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

You can walk in and do that? Do you happen to know if the week of February 21st is a busy week given that fashion week in Paris begins the week after? Everyone will presumably still be in Milan when I’m there but maybe FSH will be setting aside bags in anticipation of the next week and not letting them go? Sorry I’m sure you likely can’t say for sure but I’m looking for ideas. I like your idea about calling the store to ask for the name of my SA. Great idea. Thank you.
You can walk in and try; it’s not a guarantee they’ll give you an appointment, but if all else fails it doesn’t hurt to try. I think that regardless of what’s going on with fashion week, etc., they always have bags available. It’s a question of whether one will be offered. Best of luck!

We all know they have them in the back. Lol
There isn’t really a good or bad time to go to Paris. I just go when I go and try my luck each time.

Per my FSH SA the stock for quota bags b/k/c is still low bec of leather scarcity. FSH appoitment system is very different now. They are extremely strict. They do not give walk in appointment anymore since October 2021 even if you bought from different department, SA will ask you to make appointment if you want a bag.
It’s all lottery and luck at FSH / Sevre / GV
unless if you are VVIP.

hope you score your dream bag in Paris as you can save at least $3000 compare to US

Since 2021 October scarcity, US boutiques high spender cities
(ex. SFO, BH, OC, NY etc) is to spend minimum of 10K in your local store from Jewelry, home goods, shoes, clothes etc all Hermes universe for purchase history. (They don’t count the value of bags as purchase history tho)

Chicago/Vegas/King of Prussia/Hawaii/ and smaller boutique - minimum $5k including bag value.

please share RECENT experiences how you score quota bags in your country or city
as it’s harder now to get quota since October 2021

Share info bag lover
Attached recent photo K25 sellier with price from Dec 2021 at FSH. My dream bag

It depends on your country and store. For many non-quota bags still count towards your spend

Agree that stock is low, and that the appointment system is different these days. Here's my own story from a couple weeks ago in Paris. I have two SAs, one at Sevres and another at FSH, and I typically schedule appointments with my SAs directly. This time around, one was out due to Covid, and the other was out on maternity leave. I called FSH in advance, and was told I'd need to request an appointment through the online system. I was unable to make an online appointment for FSH, and was only in Paris for two full days. I walked in to FSH, and spoke with the person checking people in for their leather appointments. I explained that I was only in Paris for two days, that my SA was out on leave (we chit chatted a bit about the SA and her child, etc.), and asked whether it would be possible to be given an appointment since I had been unsuccessful with the online system. At first she said no, and explained that stocks are low, appointment requests are high, and they have many SAs out. After a couple more pleasant exchanges about the SA who was on leave, the holidays, etc., she asked for my name and passport information. She looked up my account and scrolled through my purchase history, and ultimately scheduled an appointment for me for the following day. The SA assigned to me was very gracious and pleasant, and I ended up purchasing a bag that was on my wish list.

I know everyone's experience is different, of course, but in my case it worked out nicely.

Amazing story! Which bag did you get?

I feel bad having being offered a bag on Saturday morning while they told you that nothing was available the day before.
The stock was indeed low and it’s really a bad timing. If you live in Paris don’t you want to try to build your profile with an SA in like Sevres or Georges V and try to get an appointment for a bag with them?
Hi Kittynui, No need to feel bad, as sometimes, I believe some SA are just not approved to offer quota-bags? As he was very nice but he was very unsure of the terms, so, I believe the SA assigned might be just a new SA who can only offer other bags. I did get offered some nice bags but after collecting Hermes for so many years, I find that most of the other designs are already either attained (or rejected in the past), I even asked for mini Evelyne and specific color Picotin Lock so that I don't waste the appointment and they only had larger Evelyne which I already have. So, it might just be timing. I will try the other 2 stores as well (the only problem is: I go to the other 2 stores and noticed that some nice SA whom I built rapport with..after a few visits, they left....seems like there are not many long term SA there..) But I am glad to be able to at least get an appointment and practice my 'request speech' LOL, so, when I get my next appointment, I will know to be more specific :-)

Have a nice day. :)

Which bag were you able to get and was it from FSH? Please share your experiences

Search my posts, I did share my experience on Saturday
Hi Kitty, I’ve been reading your posts and it all sounds amazing! I’m hoping to visit Paris and wanted to check a few things/stock for tableware and an old season colour Oran that only seems to be available in France. Your SA sounds super helpful and I was wondering if you can share her contact? I’m looking for H mosaique, passifolia and h deco pieces! Thank you
