To answer Scheurin’s original question: you are no doubt asked to use the front door because sanitary protections are being put back in place and it’s a “one way circuit” entering on Saint-Honoré and exiting on Boissy d’Anglas.

Was the blue strap by default on the brown Evelyn you were offered??

You know the location perfectly well. I was served at the upper corner desk twice - I think the most lovely desk. However, no clue what are on floors 3+? Wasn't aware of the one-way thing and entered through the side twice. As said just walked in 4 times.

The blue strap was taken from my other bag as I didn't want to bother my lovely SA unpacking the original color. Another way to make friends with your SA (even after the bags were offered to me).

Floor 3 is the family’s private museum containing Emilie Hermes’ collection of curiosities which inspired many Hermes products, and his old office. Some of us have been fortunate to receive invitations to visit.
During normal times I use the side entrance also, as it leads directly to the leather reception desk and thus my SAs.

It’s by invitation of your SA/ department manager or the store manager. Make friends well.

My husband and I were in Paris at the beginning of the month. We both tried to get an appointment each day for a week. Our last day, he was finally given an appointment. End of day on a Monday. We met with the most lovely SA who sat us down and asked what we were looking for. I said ideally a b/k in black/gold/etoupe or other similar color. B30 or B35, or a smaller Kelly. She asked about hardware, said I prefer gold, but was open. A few min later she came back with a black B35 with rose gold hardware. Perfect for my first bag. Once we finally got an appointment it was a fantastic experience. SA couldn’t have been more kind and helpful.

My friends parents are in paris and they both got appointment for tomorrow at this time also. But they received another email saying that the appointments were cancelled and its a glitch in the system.

I guess we could try to pop in tomorrow and see if they will take us however I would assume if they were to check their calendar for our appointments it would not be there. I tried clicking the link that was my original appointment confirmation and it leads to a page saying they were sorry and that they could not offer me an appointment. In my email, the link leads me to an invalid page.
