I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I was in Paris in September and in November (almost 2 full months for husbands work). Got appointment in September after few weeks tries which was during fashion week and at 6pm. No BKC was offered Pictonin 18 in Mauve Sylvester, decided to not buy it cause I prefer gold hardware and 18 seemed too small for my height ( although now I kind of regret it lol).
After that in November didn't get any appointment at all, even though more than one month passed since my appointment. (I asked my husband to apply as well and he didn't get any appointment in 2 months).
I purchased few things during September and November (shoes, accessories, home, silks), but not a lot since they would not have much stock for the items I wanted.

You'll enjoy Sevres more. It's an open floor plan and just beautiful. They also have a great selection. My shoe SA at FSH told me that Sevres gets stock before FSH does in terms of most items other than leather goods. Sevres is my favorite overall and my main store in Paris. I wish you luck. I've gotten 2 rejections so far and leave next Tuesday. I hope we each get an appt and a bag .

I’ve been to both locations before and today I went to Sèvre and appreciated the lack of frenzy. It’s not just the spaciousness there were a lot less people, but that’s expected on Rive gauche I guess. It’s 8pm now but no email reply yet… lol.

Heading back to Paris in late January and going to attempt the appt system again. I think I read somewhere on here but can’t find it - the CTG is considered a SLG so doesn’t require an appt? If that’s the case, I could walk into any of the three stores to ask?

I was told I could only get one bag (any style) per appointment but perhaps it’s because of the timing ( I was there during end of Nov) and the lack of bags☹.
When I was there beginning of November I heard the same. It was a customer with a good relationship but her SA told her stock are being very low so only one bag, she was looking at some kind of tote.

There is always flexibility in any ‘rules’ with Hermès. The latest time I was there the SAs kept saying to everyone ‘we haven’t received a shipment for days now/sorry no BKC’ and yet I was offered a mini Lindy, a C18, a C24 and a B30 all in 1 appointment. I could have purchased all in one go if I had wanted to. I believe someone else also posted here that they were allowed to buy both a K25 and a K28 amongst other items in the same appointment so… flexibility in the ‘rules’

Thank you for the extra info!! Keeping my fingers crossed that stock will be better in a few months! This is assuming we even get a leather appointment, which I know is a long shot

Hello
You are better off going to Serve store. I was able to meet a very nice SA. CTG wasn't available when I was there during Thanksgivings week. THe SA told me that it would be there by Monday. I was able to get one from him. At George V, I was told that I need an appointment and at FSH, SA wasn't helpful. I will go back to Serve if I decided to go to Paris again. I failed in all attempt to get an appointment. SA at Serve told me that I shouldn't waste my time because there was no stock during that time. I'm very happy that I was able to get CTG.

I will try all the stores this time. I didn’t visit Georges V last time. I was lucky in August with an appt at FSH and getting a bag but didn’t even think to ask for a CTG. Will be there for one week and may ask my local French friends to check the stock for me too.
