I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

No idea tbh. I just know that when I was at the Sevres store on Saturday my SA asked if I had an account. I replied that I had purchased a shawl five years ago but that was it. She looked me up and had all my contact info and said the accounts/records were international.
So purchases made in other countries (non-EU) can be seen too? I thought they could only see purchases made in France.

Got my appointment at Sevres after 6 failed attempts.
I arrived and was asked to sit on one of those couches on the side to wait. I have no purchase history, so when the SA came, she registered me and asked what I wanted, and after just a couple minutes told me they had nothing in stock.
(Maybe I never had a chance? Because I saw other guests before me being led to those display tables before being asked what they wanted, if they'd like a drink, etc.)
The SA said they will have no bag shipment for the rest of the month, and that I should not even bother making appointments until October...I purchased a belt and left...(Hoping at least my purchase history is not blank!?)

SAs tend to say that and most of the time, the statement "they had nothing in stock" is so NOT TRUE. I remember my very first time in FSH while being attended to by an SA, I overheard clients behind me being told by SAs "there is no birkin or kelly", "no shipment", "try going back next week", "you already purchased a garden party, you cannot buy anymore bags" etc. When literally my SA back then just offered me a birkin, jige, herbag and evelyne and just the day before I purchased a garden party. So moral of the story, do not believe everything they say.

Thank you for giving me hope!
(I also ordered an Avalon throw with the SA, not sure it will show up in my history..) I am going to try making appointments at FSH just to try my luck :)

Do not lose hope. With Hermes, there really is no hard and fast rule and everything is possible. Just to give you an idea, they've been saying before that you can only buy one B/K every 6 months/semester or whatever they call it (this was before the one quota bag for every 6 months "rule", because I believe now it is two a year) Also, some would even say C are quota bags. I was able to buy a B25 from George V and a mini kelly and C24 ostrich from FSH next day - all under my profile/passport. So again, do not lose hope. Just keep on trying.

Oh and one more thing, I've shopped at various Hermes worldwide, and based from my experience, Paris stores tend to have the most flexible "rules" most especially FSH.

Another small incident. After I picked a belt, I saw someone holding an Avalon throw, so I asked my SA about it. She came back with the dye throw from this season. I agreed with her that it is beautiful. She then said "Let's look at the price. 3,700." and commented "it is very expensive. I will go get the other one."

Thinking back, it almost sounded like she didn't think I could afford it. Would make sense I wasn't offered a bag and shouldn't even try the rest of the month...

I was wearing black jeans, and a vintage Hermes blazer! Any tips on what to wear next time if I ever get an appointment again?

I don't dress fancy or wear anything that expensive whenever I shop at Hermes. But I always wear some of my Hermes pieces. I tend to visit Paris during cold months because we don't have winter to wear my coats.lol. So whenever I am there during those months I usually wear my Saint Germain boots, Heure watch, hermes scarf, some jewelry which may or may not be Hermes and either a B, K or C as my purse. But other than that, I don't wear anything exceptional to be honest.

The very first time I scored a bag from FSH this is what I was wearing - 2016. Please don't judge, I was still young back then and was just starting in the luxury world. Haha

Years later, I've evolved a little bit. Haha

Moving forward, I think in the way I dress, I always make it a point to send a message that I love the brand as a whole and not just their bags.

My personal opinion is to wear what you feel comfortable in-you are going to spend money not going for a job interview.
A good SA should not judge you by what clothes you wear. I know people who are multi millionaires who deliberately go shopping in denims and sneakers very low key so as not to become a target for crime or unwanted attention.

In terms of SAs judging you by what you wear, I have a funny story. I always wore head to toe Chanel rtw when I saw my SA at the beginning, and I am talking about flashy stuff with sparkly fantasy tweed and she never really gave me the time of day. One day, my husband shows up wearing a flashy pair of louboutins and suddenly she was friendly as heck. She even said “now I have several ideas of what I can offer you.” Lol. I guess the lesson is, dress your husband well and you will be rewarded.

This is true. The SAs should not judge you or anyone for that matter. But sadly, sometimes, they do.

Sometimes, our husbands have it easy. My husband is the simplest guy I know. Quite the opposite of me. Lol. One time, wearing jeans and an unbranded shirt, just enters the store, asks for a $10K item, pays for it then leaves.

Yeah he always gets more compliments on his fashion choices. Once, he wore a sparkly moschino jacket and women were trying to take pictures with him because they thought he was a celebrity. I never get that kind of attention.

Lol but back in topic, when I got offered my first birkin at fsh, I was wearing a Tory Burch dress that I got on sale at Woodbury commons so I don’t know if fashion choices matter that much.

It depends and varies actually. I don’t really dress to impress or whatsoever, I honestly just love dressing up especially when I am in Paris and its been working for me so I just do what I do. If I don’t get a bag, at least I feel good because I think I look fashionable. Lol.
