I am not sure if anyone saw my question, but here it is. People used to talk about a lot of problems booking appointments with the online system if you have a phone from the US. Is that still the case, or has it been resolved?

If you have roaming you should be good. I was able to apply several times with my +1 phone number last week - the confirmation text came through.

So, I have never applied for an appointment before, in the past I was able to walk in. This is a first me. When you apply do you have to put in 1 - then area code - then phone number 1(561)111-1111... Like that? I realize I am being crazy, but I don't want to not get an appointment because I do it wrong...

You won't need to enter the country code at all! You select your country from the menu and then type in the 10-digit phone number, along with the rest of the details (pretty sure the form won't let you submit with a number that's not the right length). You'll get a text message with a confirmation code you need to successfully submit the appointment request.

If you want, you can even try it out at home: just submit the form with your US home number, make sure you get the confirmation code, and exit out of the page without submitting the request. If that works for you, and you'll have service to your phone number during your trip, you should be set!

Hi dear,
How many times had u applied in order to get a successful appointment?
Because I have been applying for 4 times and all no.....
I didn't get an appointment this time. I applied 4 times but then had to leave Europe. I hope you're able to get one!

Hi everyone, total newbie here!! I was in Paris this past week and thought I should pass my H success forward. I live in the US as well and go back every year to visit friends. It was actually my first time going to the FSH location and the Sèvres location. Prior to visiting these stores, I had only shopped in Palo Alto. I’m a relative newbie - the most expensive thing I’ve purchased in the US was the Avalon throw and I have a pair of Oran sandals and some pochettes. I was only in Paris for a few days (Saturday to Monday and then Friday to Sunday) so I had limited options to get a RDV since the stores are closed on Sundays. I tried once with an American phone number and then got an Orange sim and tried two more times with my French sim. I was rejected the first two times (for Saturday and Monday.) I went to Sèvres when I landed on Saturday and bought two pairs of Oran sandals and created a French profile. I went into both stores (FSH and Sèvres) to ask about RDV cancellations and they told me to go online. My third attempt was Thursday midday for Friday. This time I succeeded (not sure if it was because I bought those sandals.) My RDV kept changing but ultimately landed at 12:43 and I booked it via metro to FSH. When I got there, I waited another 25 min. Then when the SA met me, I told him it was my birthday on Wednesday and I was buying myself a present. I also dressed for the occasion. (Simple black dress, Oran sandals, hermes Bain pochette.) He found my French profile on his phone and then asked me my preferences. I showed him my list of colors and sizes and he said let me see if I can propose the 35 for you. He came back in 10 minutes carrying an orange box and ushered me to follow him!! I was so shocked and amazed and just delighted. It was a B35 in Étoupe. One other thing was that I did my entire appointment in French (I’m American.) I researched for ages online before I went so just wanted to pay it forward and thank everyone online for their help. Hope some of this helps you!

Hello Ladies,

Going into Paris store this following week. I've never been a Birkin or Kelly girl however, I've always loved the Magnolia and Bubblegum Pink colors. What is the likelihood of these colors being offered to me. Feel free to chuckle at me. They are truly my favorite colors however, I don't even know if they are in production anymore.
Please Advise,

Also a pink lover here, and also heading to Paris this week (crossing my fingers that it doesn't get cancelled).

Are you looking for specific bags in those colors or anything in those colors including SLG's and bag charms? I don't have the answer to your question but it'd probably be easier for others to answer your questions if you let us know the items you're going after!

Edit: someone in this thread got offered a K in Rose Confetti just last week so I'd imagine that there might still be leftover pinks from past seasons (even if they aren't currently under production).

Your likelihood of being offered a non-B/K, SLG in Bubblegum Pink is very high. Good luck!

Definitely looking for a Birkin 25 or 30. My faves are the Magnolia and the Bubble Gum in Doblis or any Birkin in Doblis really.
