I frequently go to Monaco. Monaco is a very small but lovely boutique. Until 2017 it for sure didn’t count as France, but I’m not sure if anything changed. BUT a big but, since grace Kelly was Monaco’s princess and the Kelly is named after her there is a big demand for the Kelly. They never ever offer it to tourists/non residents. Birkins yes, Constance yes. Kelly no.
Then again if they changed their boutique to part of France, can’t you buy in someone else’s passport?

I saw only a few charms left and was told that supply has been low since they are made from scraps. When the scraps are low, so is the availability on the charms. The charms left were mainly Fall colors like orange, chocolate, dark blue and the ones I recall seeing are 'rats' and 'cats'. They were not too attractive so I was a little disappointed but I bought a bell and it was a small size with orange/chocolate. The price is 200 Euros. I think there is a better selection on the US H.com.

Thanks dear !! I've wanting to visit FSH for years and read thru this thread about the challenges of lining up inside and outside the store to score a bag. I was fortunate to be traveling with a TPFer that had experienced all three systems. It gave me more respect of everyone here that had gone thru the challenges and patience to be waiting out in the cold just to be told 'no B or K'. I felt extremely blessed to be treated well with courtesy and respect. Everyone I met at the store both at FSH, Sevre and George V were nice, helpful and pleasant. I couldn't have asked for more.

Oh my gosh, there must be a lot of us in Paris last week !! I must say that when I spotted someone inside the H stores, I can't help but wonder if it is a fellow TPFer. I saw some IG celebrities that I followed at FSH as well so I think it must be a good time to go.

That's really good intel and very interesting!
There's a large disparity between the price of a croc and picic. I'm wondering if one is expected to spend the value of a croc for a picnic as well(?)

US site is slightly more expensive plus I can’t choose the color. I’m debating if I should do a daytrip from London.

My appointment was @3 and it moved to 3:30 but anyways I went early and registered..
At 3:10 an lovely SA came to me and took me to a room then asked what I was looking for, I told her that I strictly want a birkin 25 as I only have one and have couple of Kellys and showed her the colors I’m interested in and showed her the colors I already have, then she told me let me go and see if I can catch you one before there gone.. after 15 minuets she came with 2 box’s one was a B25 in the new color vert amande and a Picotin 18 in etoupe..
Off course and got the B25 and rejected the Picotin as I already have it in gold..

Am so happy that on first trip in Paris I scored this beauty..

Did you think the supply of kelly colors was rather on the low side? I got offered muted colors and wound up with gold. The SA spoke rapid French and rapid English with a French accent. I couldn't tell which color of blue she was offering initially, it was a dark blue gray in the light of the dressing room. Kinda what a leather of about 3-4 years ago that was named storm or something like that. I couldn't use vert amande b/c I already had bags close to that color. I forget what the fourth color was, if there was one.

Certainly, gold is a classic H color that many tpfers like @etoupebirkin have gotten. I guess what I really wanted was this cute little toolbox in rouge h which was part exotic leather. I couldn't tell which exotic, gator or croc, but I guess it wasn't embossed leather! (If only. Then I'd be able to come home with it). That rouge h was TDF, I was looking for something with a brownish-red cw. I don't know what leather the toolbox was. I asked the bag people where the bag was but if it's not a commission for them, fuggetboutit.

Getting a bag at FSH can be a rushed procedure. I got several other things, including scarves, bada bing, bada boom! The bag encounter is not the chatty often prolonged interaction it is in the boutiques. That's ok, b/c FSH is Bag Central more or less. FSH is rather a stressful encounter b/c it's necessary to remember all the things I wanted to ask about. It required a lot of concentration.

Anyhow, I have a new quest: rouge h. What a beautiful color! Is it going to be available next year, does anyone know? (Meanwhile I glean what I can from the 2020 leather thread).

Both of us had tried applying online prior to the arrival and got three rejects. We dropped by last week at FSH after checking in the hotel and the store was quite busy. The person we met at the entrance is the famous Michael and he was so gracious to take photos with us. I finally got an appointment the following morning and was led to the special room with the leather where VIPs placed their SO. Smaller bags were on my wish but there was none. Not even Lindy 26 and GP30. There were all sold out the week prior. I was offered an Etoupe B30 in Epsom and declined since I prefer Togo. SA was so kind to find me another color so I ended up with a GP36 in Vert Cypress (the only GP 36 in leather) and a B30 in Blue Electric Togo with gold hardware. It was really a magical experience and like others, the wait seemed endless as I was anxious. I thought I had prepared all this time and even wrote my wish list down but the butterflies were all over.

We went back the next day to get other accessories and saw a couple of GP30s shown in canvas. At the CDG airport, I asked just before I hopped on my flight and there was a GP30 in Capucine leather. There was no Lindys or Picotins.

We also went to George V and Sevre. The staff are also very pleasant but appointments were all given earlier in the morning. If you want to get a bag appointment, be sure to get there early.

Wow I was also at FSH for an appointment with my SA earlier this week and went back to check out shoes and RTW since I ran out of time after the leather appointment the day before, I then saw and chatted with Micheal the next day, wonder how many other TPFers in disguise at the store this week lol

Inventory was good last year around that time, given that they are expecting a Christmas rush, but shipments kept on getting delayed due to the gilets jaunes protests. My bf and I were there before Christmas and kept getting offered Constances, although we were after K/B. I got my BF B30 shortly after the new year and assume it was delayed stock from the holiday season because it has a 2018 stamp. Going again this year and hoping for a K/B25!
