I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I've been waiting for a chance to reciprocate on this thread. Finally had a chance to travel to Paris with fellow TPFer @mcpro last week. Thought I was prepared for the visits and waiting time after reading all the posts but one has to really experience it in person.
Both of us had tried applying online prior to the arrival and got three rejects. We dropped by last week at FSH after checking in the hotel and the store was quite busy. The person we met at the entrance is the famous Michael and he was so gracious to take photos with us. I finally got an appointment the following morning and was led to the special room with the leather where VIPs placed their SO. Smaller bags were on my wish but there was none. Not even Lindy 26 and GP30. There were all sold out the week prior. I was offered an Etoupe B30 in Epsom and declined since I prefer Togo. SA was so kind to find me another color so I ended up with a GP36 in Vert Cypress (the only GP 36 in leather) and a B30 in Blue Electric Togo with gold hardware. It was really a magical experience and like others, the wait seemed endless as I was anxious. I thought I had prepared all this time and even wrote my wish list down but the butterflies were all over.

We went back the next day to get other accessories and saw a couple of GP30s shown in canvas. At the CDG airport, I asked just before I hopped on my flight and there was a GP30 in Capucine leather. There was no Lindys or Picotins.

We also went to George V and Sevre. The staff are also very pleasant but appointments were all given earlier in the morning. If you want to get a bag appointment, be sure to get there early.

Such an experience! If you were led to a private room before your SA asked for your wish list it sounds she was going to offer you a quota bag when she saw you?

Btw did you buy the rodeo during the appointment or the next day?

thanks a lot for sharing!

No rodeos at the moment. I was told that the artisans that make the rodeos are currently busy making gloves, probably due to the upcoming holiday season. That explains why we haven't seen any rodeos for a while.

Before I was led to the private room, I was asked of my wish list. If you're looking for non B and K, those bags will be shown in the open without the need to go into the private room.

Congratulations! Saw your lovely GP in another thread, the Bleu E B30 with GHW sounds amazing, hope you can share some snaps if it’s convenient! And finally having a fellow TPFer enjoying Paris with you sounds so awesome! :girlsigh:

Congratulations, @chkpfbeliever! Can't wait to see your reveals and how cool that you got to meet Michael! I love BE! Also, it appears we missed you as I was in Paris last week too! @noegirl, my DH, and I each tried for appointments (DH and I each 4x and @noegirl 3x) and none of us got an appointment, but that's okay as there wasn't much that we really wanted. It was a fun experience and we visited all three stores. They were mobbed at all the times we went (morning and afternoon), but the SAs we talked with were all gracious.

Just wanted to share my little story. I decided to buy an Evelyne in Paris, and went to the FSH store eventhough I didn’t have an appointment. I thought I would try my luck but wasn’t expecting success and would try at the airport when I left. I walked to the counter and the very nice woman made me an appointment right away. When I got the text, it said the appt was for a few hours later, so I walked around the store and then asked her if I can leave and come back. She said they would take me right away and a very nice woman helped me. They served me coffee and sparkling water and it was a great experience. It was fun to watch everyone shopping, what they were wearing, etc. anyway, I purchased my Evelyne, and thought that would be that. I have a watch and some jewelry I bought a few years ago, but didn’t think I would be interested in anything else. I love the evie, and it is perfect for me. A few days later, I went to the Sevres store near where I was staying, and went to the scarf department to browse. I was really surprised at how much I loved them. From there if was a slippery slope. I tried the large cashmere shawls and fell in love with two, and bought them as well as a pair of Orans. So in the end my shopping was really pleasant and I bought beautiful things. Hope everyone has a great experience too. Thanks for letting me share.

Has anyone been offered a kelly picnic at FSH?

My friend asked they told her the picnic is way to rare so they only offer it to their own(non-tourist) clients. I think that is Unless you make a big amount of purchases. When my mom asked for croc they told her to at least spend the value of the bag over a certain period of time (or at once [emoji23])
