She had prepared the room with a large box, she opened the box and there is was Birkin 30 Blue Zanzibar in Epsom.

Over the moon that I scored my dream bag, i didn’t think about H and started planning my husbands surprise trip.

My husband was over the moon that I planned this entire Paris trip with his friends and wanted to score some birthday outfits at Hermès FSH. He bought some shirts. We partied for his birthday and at day 5 of our 5 day Paris trip my Husband wanted to go back to Hermès to shop some rtw. He picked about 10 items, I picked a silver ring and some scarves and that was about it. My husband than said, why don’t you see if you can get another bag, which was music to my ears, we asked the men’s rtw sa if there was anyway I could get a handbag and he said that The system changed and I would be needing an appointment but he said let me walk with you and see if they can give you one. So the leather department lady said no slots left. I saw another SA with the most gorgeous necklace and I asked her where she bought it. She gave me the website and asked me if I was looking for anything specific I told her I was hoping for a leather appointment, she told me she was a manager and fixed me an appointment at 4:30 that afternoon. I came around 4:00 and started browsing some other items. At 4:10 my SA was ready we met, she took me to a room placed me down and asked what I was looking for, I explained I purchased some items in the morning I gave her my specs, she said it’s a bit late so I’m not sure we have a lot of stock. Went away and came back with 2 boxes one was a Kelly 28 sellier Epsom in Malachite and Kelly 28 retourne in rouge H. I love the Rouge H but hate retourne. I said I wasn’t a fan of retourne but I wasn’t sure if the malachite color (now I know stupid me) she immediately took back the retourne and asked me if I’d be interested in a special Birkin and left the malachite in front of me.

She came back with a gris mouette Birkin with blue agathe inside which is called a Verso Birkin. Immediately I said yes!

I thanked her and we went on with the rest of our summer travels.

So I scored 2 bags in my 2017 summer trip.




Fast forward to summer 2019, I was in Europe with my daughter and husband and my husbands friend, and they said let’s drive to Paris tomorrow just for a day and come back the day after. I immediately tried for appointments from both my phone and my husbands phone and got declined. We drove to Paris and my husband had some appointments he had to attend to and we said that I’d try for an appointment again for the next day. Of course we both got declined. We went to Hermes anyway to buy RTW for my husband, we saw the SA that helped us 2 years before and asked if he could get me an appointment he said he could fix me an appointment at 4 but I had to decline since we had to leave at 14:00. He asked me to walk with him, the lady said well make an exception wait here, I was asked what I wanted to drink and with my coffee after 15 minutes a very nice young girl came to me she asked me what I was after, i told her black Kelly 25 sellier silver hardware would be my holy grail, the girl laughed and said that’s asking for a unicorn, what else, so I gave a few other options and we asked for a bag for my husband. She came back and asked to follow her into the high jewelry room. There were sitting a few people around tables. One beautiful Asian lady was offered a crocodile Kelly with diamonds. She told me I was quite lucky and openend a black Kelly 25 in Epsom sellier with silver hardware. View attachment 4575696

Such a nice story / I enjoyed reading it and they are all beautiful bags. That malachite Kelly I cannot believe you could turn her down!:nuts:

For example some items are not available in certain areas. My SA always shows me rtw that’s Paris only and makes a list before I go. Or if I show her certain items, she tells me wait until paris because my size or color is unavailable. For example in Middle East we have certain abaya’s and kaftans that are only available here, so paris has certain paris only items. In my boutique people fight for certain items so my SA is happy when I get the items wherever it comes from. Maybe if business is less booming managers are less willing to make an appointment but here it’s not a problem.

Hi ladies!! It’s almost time for my euro trip in December. Anyone know how inventory is before Christmas? We’ll be there the week before for about 5 days. I’m hoping since I was able to get a bag last year at the Sevres store that I’ll be lucky again this year .

Thanks for your answer. I may have an opportunity for such an appointment during my next trip, which is still half a year away. I would love to see FSH's RTW collection as ours is almost minimal and transferring items without knowledge of what exist is always a pain.

Last week I was in Paris and I was telling as SA in Sevres store that am coming in December he told me that the stocks are high during Christmas and new year but its better if you have an appointment because it will be very busy..
But after my experience last week I won’t waste my time in Sevres or Gorge V , I’ll just try to get an appointment in FSH.. plus am planning to get some jewelry pieces so even if I didn’t get an leather appointment online I hope my other purchase helps me in getting one..
