Just wondering.... Do you girls bring your hermes bags while traveling to Paris? Heard lots of unpleasant stories of pickpockets in the eu so I was curious about this. And do you thing carrying the bag while visiting the store increase the chance of getting something? Thanks!

There were many discussions regarding the questions on this thread, do a search, make yourself a cup of coffee (or tea) and happy readings. In short, there isn’t a definite answer, some do and some don’t, just be yourself, be comfortable with what you doing and enjoy the trip.

Lots of people take there bags and lots don’t. Some people who take there bags aren’t offered a bag and others who don’t get offered a bag. It all depends on the SA.

1)Yes of course, I have nothing else to use.
2) I would advise being aware of your surroundings at anytime, anywhere and especially in unfamiliar places.
3) No, it depends on your relationship with the store and/ or a measure of luck and timing that they have what you want.

I usually wear my Hermes bags most of the time. But I mean it doesn't matter which brand you wear you have to always be careful with your surrounding. Based on my experience many years ago the security at FSH was very nice and doing a great job telling my husband as we enter the store to be careful as he thinks that someone is following us ( and turned out to be true ) as at that time I don't wear my Hermes bag.
Maybe yes maybe no regarding the chance of getting something depends on luck and SA.. HTH

For those of you lucky enough to have an established SA in Paris, is securing an appointment the same for you recently? Usually, I email a SA I have worked with abbot 4-5 times in past a few weeks out from my dates in Paris and she sets an appointment. This time, she says she is already full for that date and suggests I try the online appt system to set time with her...has anyone had similar experience or am I just an unlucky one? BTW, I did not do anything, that I know of, that would constitute bad behavior ;)!

@GAMOGIRL and @kittynui and @Iffi So sorry to hear your situation and concerns. Trying to psych-out H intents and actions could drive a person nuts -- but they do things that fairly often require us to wonder what's going on.

my SA at FSH is still the same, she gives me app via email and when she is out on holiday on the date of my travel she will let me know which of her SA friend to look for. i am not a 'generous' spender now, i have ok history at G5 with high end jewelry and RTW but since i moved to FSH i've been a so-so spending customer

I always carry my Ks while vacationing. Where i live along with my daily lifestyle don't allow me to use them as often as I'd like so i make up for lost time while vacationing.
My first H bag, a Kelly, was offered to me while carrying a Chanel flap. While i do think carrying an H bag helps your prospects-- there are ample e.g.'s proving it uncorrelated with b\k\c offers.

Thanks for sharing LKNN. How recently was your last appt? I think this is a new issue...
