Hello everyone! I am going to Paris this Sept and hoping to make my first Hermes purchase. I am interested in the silk'in wallet. I've been told different things about visiting the Hermes boutiques. I've been told that I need an appointment to even visit the boutiques, then I was told that appointments only apply to those who are looking to purchase a handbag and I was also told that an appointment is necessary for all leather goods. I don't know which is true? I'm feeling so beaten even before going.

Just been to paris - appointment needed if you want to purchase bags - no appointment necessary for small leather goods like wallets! Hope this helps!

My family (DH and kids) were at Paris last week. Both DH and I managed to get appointments after several tries and our appointments landed on the same day but different times.

For DH appointment (in the afternoon around 12noon), the SA offered us a Constance 18 Etoupe with GHW. I took it as it was my first choice. The SA also showed us a picotin and mini Evelyn which we declined. She told us they had no delivery of B and K that day.

On my appointment (around 5.30pm), I requested for a Kelly Pochette or Kelly 25/28. I got offered a KP in Rose Porpourne Swift PHW. I also bought the KP as it was a bag I don’t have in my collection.

Overall, we are extremely happy with our visit to FSH. We were offered bags of our choice and these are the ones I currently I do have in my collection. My DH and I do not have purchase history in FSH. All SAs are polite, helpful and friendly.

In case it impacts your decision to SO (or not) in your next appt, want to flag that rose gold hardware is *not* an option for SO in B/K. You can only request RGHW for a Constance SO, at least for this current round.

hardware is perfect for me, trying to get my first Hermes so not looking for something extra if I can say :)

Our appointments were on Monday. We were there everyday that week after our appointment to shop for other things and it seems Monday was the busiest for appointments and generally we saw more success on bags on Monday (the day we got both my bags).

Another member has said she got a c24 last week so maybe they only had Constance delivery that week? I don’t know, just guessing. But key to get your bag is to be specific and if they have the bag you are after, they will offer it to you. In my case, I got both bags that were my first choices.

I was also offer a Constance on friday and à Kelly. I think summer holiday is super busy, when you think about it a lot of peoples travel as couple, 2 appointments.. Like all year around but that time seems even worst.

Exactly you have to be specific if you say I just want a bag don’t care about size colors hardware I think it’s dead for you.

Congrats on the Constance etoupe was offer in the bigger size but it’s just a color for me.

I have never not gotten a bag. Even with my Sa on maternity leave I have always been taken care of. I think they just know me at this point and I always wear my last purchase.

I don’t, when she’s on maternity leave she doesn’t check her emails and I don’t expect her to. But before she went I had emailed her and she told me about her happy news and we keep in touch when she is at work. But I have 10 years of history at FSH so even though I have a specific SA that I connected with I will see others and never had a problem getting a bag. Even the manager has helped me My SA introduced me to her a few years ago.

Thank you for sharing. I've heard similar stories with FSH and it seems that a long history is the key to a good relationship.
