The only advice anyone can give you is to try for an appointment at FSH every day and then ask for what you want if you get an appointment. If you don't get an appointment, go to one of the other stores (or even FSH) and spent a boat load of money (10k+) on fine jewelry and then ask for a bag as well.
Wow that second option is really risky. Esp for a very specific bag.

Agreed, it's definitely not a guarantee and I wouldn't do it myself. But if one is desperate for a bag from Paris and the appointment system isn't working out, there's really very little other advice to give (other than common sense: don't be rude, show your enthusiasm for the brand, etc)

I just got back from Paris and would like to share my experience as I read up here before my trip. I arrived Paris 2/19, I didn’t request for appointment prior to flying as I know I won’t have time to get there and didn’t know if a no show will affect my chances later on. I started requesting for appointment using my passport only and I got one for 2/21 at 5:30pm. I had no good feeling as the appointment was so late. I was looking for b30 or k28 in epsom or Togo leather in either red, gold, grey or other neutral color. I finally met my SA a little before 6 and told her my preference. She left for 25 mins and came back with a big box, bigger than b30 or k28, it was a beautiful red b35, but it is bigger than I wanted, I kindly rejected it and tried for appointment for the remaining of my stay using my passport and my husband’s passport and didn’t get another appointment. I flew out on 2/26 morning so my last chance was 2/25 which I didn’t get an appointment. I decided to go in and help my friend to get a necklace and I was going to get a bracelet. They didn’t had the necklace my friend wants so I got a bracelet. While I was waiting to pay, I told my SA my situation and she said she can help ask the leather department if there’s anything they can do. They asked if I requested for appt and I said yes but I got rejected, they found my record and assigned me a SA. It was just passed 4pm. I was assigned to a lovely SA and I told her my preference, she left and came back around 15 mins later and carried a box that looks like it might be what I want, along with a tiny box. She said this is the last b30 left and it’s a special edition while she open up the box. Once she opened the box I recognized the same style was in one of the display glass cabinet. Dark blue was going to be my back up color and this one has two dark wine color stripes on one side. Although it wasn’t my first three choices of colors but once I tried it on, I know I need to bring this baby home and it will be my first Hermes bag! Here it is!! Hopefully other will have good luck as well! This is my first time trying to get a b or k and came home with one and a rodeo and a bracelet!

Gorgeous bag

Dear Ladies and Gents: I hope that my recent experience at FSH, for the week of February 17th will be helpful to you. Unfortunately, I did not have the wonderful luck that @Cyu511 had on her trip. In fact, I never received an appointment despite five tries. One of my two daughters received an appointment for Monday, February 17th, but was not offered B or K. She was very open as to size (30/35 B or 32/35 K) and open as to colors (black, grey or pop with pink or red - any tones). My other daughter did not receive an appointment either. I will say that I while at FSH we saw several Constance size boxes going to private rooms with customers, and saw a couple of security guards accompanying courtiers taking B size boxes to the Sofitel, so those bags were definitely offered and purchased. The FSH hostess was unable to squeeze me in for an appointment even when I told her I'd been turned down so many times.

The leather department SA whom I spoke with at George V told me they had Evelyne's if I were interested but no B or K due to fashion week, but who knows? Per TPF, others had good luck the same week that I was in Paris.

So, safe to say as some others have done, it is very tough to get an appointment through the system. While I am disappointed at least I have a lovely SS and SM at my home boutique where I hope to get my next K soon. I think that purchasing though the home boutique for many people may be the best and least stressful option. And regardless, the three of us had a wonderful time! We LOVE :heart:our trips to Paris, because as you know: Paris is always a good idea!

Sorry to hear this but love your attitude.

Not sure if you try buying a piece of jewellery might help and attending an appointment one at a time might help.
Hope you receive your K in your homestore soon.

And, while we don't know the full appointment algorithm, since she got an appointment last week, it's questionable how easily she'll be granted another appointment again so soon.

Just closing this out.

Got the appointment, and got a gorgeous Kelly. It was the end of Fashion Week and a Saturday. I was telling myself that if I didn't manage to get a Kelly this time I'll just go to Carine Gilson and nurse my sorrows with $5k of lingerie. And the SA took a while to get it so I was starting to look up how to get to the Carine Gilson boutique on CityMapper.

But the SA came back with multiple boxes. Am very pleased.

To be candid--My FSH experience prior to this one wasn't good. The SA just took my preferences, went down, and came back empty ended. And while I have no reason to doubt the veracity of what the SA said, the entire experience came across as too transactional, and the sales associates who manage leather appointments downstairs were proudly condescending.

This time, my experience was totally and exceptionally different. The SA I dealt was exceptionally kind, we had a great conversation before I asked for what I wanted. And the SA assisted me with many other purchases in addition to the Kelly.

The FSH visit is definitely the greatest shot anyone has at getting a K/B without a prior Hermes relationship. Unfortunately, I travel so much that it's difficult for me to build an SA relationship with any one SA. And before anyone tells me that the system is global, it isn't. I picked up these beautiful heels in another European store a few weeks earlier, and that didn't show up (among other purchases, but this is just one example).

Anyways, this experience at FSH is enough to make up for the last one. And even if I had come away empty handed, I would have felt better because of how kind and classy the SA and overall team was. I never enjoy being made to feel like crap for wanting to part with $10k for a handbag, and it doesn't exactly inspire loyalty to a brand when people do that to me. Others like the chase, I guess.
